@Hawkeye

Rykah caught it, and sat up again, using it to try and get the knots out of his tail, wincing as he pulled just a little too hard on one.
(Yup… exactly how I wanted to spend my evening….)

@Hawkeye

“You Alright?”

"Lets just say that you have no idea how annoying it is to have to try and take care of wings and a tail." Said Rykah glaring at his tail.

@Hawkeye

“I’m sorry, Ry.” Will said, giving Rykah his best empathetic/sympathetic(I can never remember which is right) smile.

"Just be glad you don't have to put up with shirts and feathers" said Rykah with a wry grin as he put the comb down and flopped back to work the knot out with his fingers.

@Hawkeye

Will took another drink of his coffee, forgetting that it was scalding hot, and then hissed.

Rykah paused looking at Will when he heard the hiss. "You ok?"

@Hawkeye

“Just burned the roof of my mouth off. I’ll be fine.”

"Ok" said Rykah, Turning back to combing his tail.

@Hawkeye

A quiet scraping noise came from the other side of the room. Will turned, and saw the journal on the floor next to his door(hey that rhymed!).
He went and picked it up, noticing that someone had put a bookmark in to mark the last page they had used.

Rykah watched him for about to seconds before going back to his tail with a slight growl.

@Hawkeye

I guess you found this then? Well, that’s great. I thought Anna had thrown it away. Jack’s neat cursive said, in green pen.
Underneath that, in Anna’s horrible handwriting, with a red colored pencil, read, Why would I have thrown it away? It’s not like I make a habit of throwing out things like this!

Rykah finally got the last knot out, sitting up and using the comb to straighten his hair before leaning over and putting it on the desk, "what's that?" He asked, recognizing the notebook from earlier.

@Hawkeye

“The famous ‘Orman Kids Notebook’.” Will said, remembering that that was the name for it.

Rykah's ears twitched curiously as he came iver behind Will. His wings sorta flopping on the other boy's shoulders.

@Hawkeye

Will found a yellow sharpie randomly on his desk, and began writing out a new message.
Yes, I found the journal. No, Anna did not throw it away. It was in a drawer of mine for some reason. I figured maybe we should get it out again.

Rykah watched him write, his eyes locked on rhe tip of rhe pen as his tail flicked like a cat.

@Hawkeye

Will got up again and slipped the journal under the door.

Rykah watched him, ears twitching, tail flicking.
(I think he's pretending to be a cat again…)

@Hawkeye

Will smiled, before walking into his closet, closing the door, and changing.

Rykah sighed, moving back to flop on the bed again, his wings taking up most of the space.
