Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

Rykah smiled, leading him on, heading towards the sound of a river.

(I was just loudly singing a song from Panic! At The Disco and my brother came running into my room to sing the chorus. Scared the crap out of me. It’s fine tho)
“Do you have any idea what’s down here?” Will asked curiously.

"Not really," said Rykah, "But I do know the way back, though maybe not what's up ahead." he stopped when they came to a rise overlooking a river.

“Oh! I’ve been here before!” Will said excitedly.

"Really?" said Rykah curiously.

“Yeah. My dad used to bring me out here sometimes….”Will said, trailing off.

Rykah watched Will curiously, but his curiosity turned to concern when he saw Will's face.

“He’s gone now. It doesn’t matter.” Will was mostly talking to himself.

Rykah wanted to pull Will away from his sad thoughts, so he pulled Will back in a different direction, walking away from the river.

Will shook his head, and regained his bright smile. “I’m fine.” He reassured Rykah.

"Yeah, I know, but I also know water isn't my thing." said Rykah laughing, technically telling the truth.

Will smiled. “I love you.”

"Love you more" said Rykah laughing.

“Here we go again!” Will said in mock exasperation.

"It's the truth though!!" laughed Rykah.

Will smiled, purposely bumping into Rykah gently.

Rykah took that as an opportunity to wrap a wing around Will's shoulders.

Will’s smile grew wider as he leaned into Rykah.

Rykah grinned, his tail flicking happily as they walked.

“you ready to go back or do you wanna stay here for a while?”

"We can head back if you like" said Rykah softly as they came to a spot where the trees opened up, and they could see the stars coming out.

“Only If you want to.”

"I think we should before your brother really does get mad…." said Rykah sheepishly, "I mean.. it's getting pretty late…"

Will laughed. “The person you really need to worry about is my sister! But yes, we probably should head back.”

Rykah's ears flattened at that, but he nodded then turned in a different direction, beginning to start heading back with Will.

Will talked a lot on the way back. It was mostly random stories, that you could just nod along to.

Rykah laughed at some of them, enjoying the sound of Will's voice as they headed out of the trees and onto the street to Will's house.

“And thats the story of the first time I broke a bone!” Will finished his last story with a bow.
(Surprisingly enough, in real life, the brother Will is based on has broken more bones than me(the girl who jumped off her roof), my older brother, (the boy who is possibly the clumsiest person I know), or my third brother(the boy who gets in at least one fight a month))

Rykah glanced at him with a grin, "As long as you make sure I'm not responsible for any more broken bones in the future ok?" he said as he led Will up to the front door.

(As in right now his arm is in a cast. Last year he broke three bones. Unless you don’t include a nose as a bone? So I guess two normal bones and his nose)
“Ok.” Will laughed. He went inside, noticing his sister sitting at the kitchen table, drinking a glass of milk and eating Oreos. “How was your date?”
“Good. She was cute.” Anna replied with a mouthful of Oreo.
“Second date?”
“Maybe.” Will nodded, seemingly satisfied with that answer.
