Rykah stashed his bow in a hiding spot under the car seat that held down the tarp wall of his home. then he went over to the old tote bin and pulled out his sketch pad once more, and an old pencil from his pocket. Then he began sketching his old tigress friend.
Will saw an old tarp that looked to be some form of shelter. “Rykah?” Will said questioningly.
Rykah froze when he heard a voice outside. That sounded like Will! He quickly got up, leaving his sketchpad on the car seat. "Will?" he asked coming out from under the tarp. "What are you doing here?" he asked when he saw him.
“I…Er… I ran away.” Will said quietly. “Not permanently, I don’t think.”
"Yeah but why here??" asked Rykah in confusion, "And how in the world did you managed to find this place?? I mean if you aren't careful you could get hurt or lost…."
“You were the first place I thought of.”
"seriously??" asked Rykah, surprised. "But why did you leave??"
“I had an argument with my family last night.” After the argument, Jack had come up to his room and said, “Either you lose the freak or you lose me.” Will had responded angrily with, “I choose Rykah.” Jack had ignored him since. But he wasn’t going to tell Rykah that.
Rykah looked concerned, "Well you're welcome to hang out here I guess…." he said gesturing to his makeshift tent…
Will smiled for a second, then realized what he had done. He had run away. His family would wake up any minute and find him gone. What would they do? His breathing quickened and he went into a state of panic. Oh god. Panic attack.
"Will?" Rykah came up to his friend as he saw Will tense up. "You okay?"
Will couldn’t quite get the words out. “I-panic-I-I…”
Rykah came up to Will and gave him a hug, "Just calm down.." he said "It's gonna be ok…"
Will took a few deep breaths and calmed down a bit, enough to say, “I’m fine.”
"You sure?" asked Rykah stepping away.
“That happens sometimes. I’m alright.” Will sat down on the ground, his knees shaking.
Rykah crouched on a log, "So are you gonna get in trouble for coming here?" he asked
“Probably. I don’t really care. I mean, I hate disappointing my parents, but my siblings are the ones I’m really worried about. Jack’s going to feel terrible, Anna will yell at him for chasing me off, they’ll get into a fight, Anna will probably try and hit Jack, and then Jack will stop her and actually land a punch.” He went on and on, causing himself to panic again. For the next few minutes, all of it came spilling out. Why his family was so protective, why he had learned to stop arguments quickly, and many other things he had never told anybody else.
Rykah listened, he didn't speak until it had all come out, "Just be glad you have a family that can protect you…" he said quietly, trying not think about devastation that had separated him from his mom..
(What did you do to Will??)
(?) “I love my family, I really do. And I’m glad I have them, but the overprotectiveness makes everything ten times harder.”

Still better than what I have… thought Rykah a bit selfishly, "So do you wanna come inside?" asked Rykah gesturing to his fort.
(I was confused about ‘what did you do to Will??’ Sorry.) “Yeah.” Will said, hoping he hadn’t said the wrong thing.
(I want details! What happened to the poor Hufflepuff??)
Rykah beckoned leading Will down the slight slope and into his small Hut, "I'm sorry it isn't much…" he said climbing up to perch in a branch so his wings wouldn't be in the way.
(Oh ok. So basically what I told you earlier: the whole manipulated and nearly killed thing, but also his siblings get into fights A LOT and it escalates unless he stops it so it’s a lot of pressure, his biological father was abusive, and he’s supposed to be the ‘perfect’ child, because his sister is loud and impulsive(a total Gryffindor) and his brother is sarcastic, rude, and smart(not in a good way. And he’s a Slytherin), so that’s also a lot of pressure.)
“It’s great.” Will said, sitting down.
"So how long you gonna be here?" asked Rykah
(Cool!)
“Not sure.” Will answered, thinking of his brother and sister. But then he thought about why he had run away in the first place and decided it would probably be a while.
"well welcome to my home!" laughed Rykah,
“Thanks!” Will laughed right along with him.
(I have to go until like 8:30-9:00, so talk to you then or in the morning. Sorry.)

Rykah grinned, "Um can you pass me my sketchpad?" he asked gesturing to it.

Will picked up the sketchbook and handed it to Rykah. “You like drawing?”
