Met approached it slowly, careful to avoid the large pieces of rubble. He reached up and scooped his large hands into the lip of the vent, pulling his light self up to look down into the vent. A shadow whispered softly to him, and he just ignored it for now.

The vent, covered with a layer of dust, seems to have 2 ways to go, left, or right.
Met inhaled the dust and coughed softly, slowly easing himself into the vent. He felt his heart beating but he didn’t feel afraid. Soon his pale feet poofedaway as he thought of where to go. He decided to go left.
Melanie hoists herself up into the vent, scratching herself on her hip, and gets herself in the vent, scrunching her nose up from the rustic, mildew smell. He might be right, after all. Only one way, and it's through here…

Met comes up on a vent opening, below seems to be a mess of papers, scattered everywhere.
Melanie goes down the vent for a while, coming to spilt, going to the right, or keep going straight.
(Different, might lead to one of the same places tho.)
Met poked his head curiously out, his heart beating faster and faster. A pressure built back against his eyes but he ignored it, breathing quickly as he dropped himself down in the room, though his body screamed for him to go back.
Melanie doesn't think much before going straight, listening for anything that sounded normal, besides her fog-man-friend.
There seems to be something that got startled from Met dropping in the room, it scoots back against a corner, balling up and whimpering.
After a while Melanie comes across a opening that leads into another room, someone seems to be still inside, vomiting.
Met jumped and flattened himself against the wall, his fear finally hitting him with full force. His chest throbbed as he inhaled in and out quickly, his eyes jolted around the room, finally landing on the thing.
“What… what are you?” He finally asked softly, his voice hoarse with very few use.
It doesn't respond, but stops whimpering, still balled up, it seems to have almost animal like ears. The ears perk up a bit.
Melanie crawls out cautiously, first her arms, and then her legs, then dropping down and catching herself. "H-hello? Are you real, or like the others?" (Idk if the person playing Jax is online or not, I don't think so)
(IDK.) The person seems to be real, they aren't like the normal hallucinations if they are one.
“I-I won’t hurt you,” The boy breathed softly, his eyes widening at the ears.
They look up at him, their face almost looks like a question mark. They get up slowly.
Melanie sits on the floor, where there's no barf, and tucks her knees in, carefully observing the person. He seemed normal, besides the fact that he was vomiting.
Met inhaled sharply and watched them, crushing himself against the wall fearfully. “What are you doing?” He asked softly.
They slightly hold their arms out, offering a hug, while trying to not scare Met anymore than they have.

Met inhaled sharply, holding his breath. “A hug?” He murmured.
They nod, their face turning to the shape of a heart.
“Why?” He asked it, stepping forward against himself.
They grab a paper real quick and covers some part of it, where it says. "I'm not gonna hurt you. Your the only one I have met who has been this kind." and hands it to Met.
Met took the paper gingerly and read it slowly. “W-well… you haben’t met a lot of decent people, then,” He whispered back, wincing at how offensive that was. “Sorry. That was mean.” He shied away against the wall again.
They nod, then walks over to Met and hugs them.
(Um, Melanie is just waiting here…with someone's character who isn't even on…oof)
