(Oh, okay. I changed it. Wanna time skip?)
Save Me // One-On-One // CLOSED
(I would… But I don't know when to exactly)
(When she's calmed down?)
Amelia stood, watching Peter and Sandra. It was almost a stale match, but Amelia was no longer angry.
Hesitantly, Sandra approached. "Amelia, I'm sorry…"
"I don't need an apology," Amelia said, stepping back.
Sandra froze. She didn't want to make Amelia upset again.
"Just… Keep your distance."
She nodded slowly.
"Can I come closer?" Peter asked.
"No, stay there."
Sandra didn't speak – hardly moved.
"I'm sorry for how I acted before. But I don't take back what I said."
"Me too," she whispered.
Amelia hesitantly took a small step forward.
"I was only trying to help you," Sandra said quietly. "I'm sorry for pushing you."
"You should be sorry. I don't like people who pressure me into doing things."
She nodded and opened her mouth to say something, but she thought better of it and closed it.
"I…I've had time to calm down. I don't know if you can tell, but I'm broken from Rita's death."
Sandra nodded again, not sure of the right words to say.
"And… And I think I need someone to help me through that. But I don't really trust anyone."
Sandra pressed her lips together. "You're not alone in that…"
"I need someone I can trust. Not someone who says they're gonna help me but betray me. I need someone like Rita."
Sandra took a deep breath. "I don't know if you'll believe me, but I would be genuinely honored to help you, Amelia. I know I'm not Rita, but… I'd like to try and help."
"Prove it," Amelia said. "Price that you really want to help me."
"How? What do you want me to do?"
"You should know that!"
Sandra flinched. "I'm sorry, but… I don't, Amelia…"
"Then you don't really want to help me," Amelia hissed.
"I do! And I'll do anything you say to prove it!"
Amelia glared at Sandra. "You're making me mad again."
