"You don't like it?" said Firiko a bit surprised, "I always liked it"

“No offense, but that felt horrible.”

"Eh, be glad you don't have wings then." laughed Firiko

Reed laughed lightly.

Firiko laughed too, leading the way down onto a larger branch.

Reed followed, watching the branch he was on carefully.

Firiko led the way for awhile longer occasionally pointing out certain wildlife to Reed and Ren

Reed watched the scenery, tripping several times.

Firiko yawned slowly, careful not to disturb the fluffleflies rhat had flocked to him overnight. "You two up yet?" He called to Ren and Reed.
(Ok imagine a large hippogriff sized winged wolf… completely covered in multiple colored pom pom floors with teeny wings and big eyes and smol feet. All. Over. The. Wolf. So that the wold is covered. And I mean COVERED. In these little critters such that you cannot see more than his ears and eyes.

(May I ask where the things are from? I have a suspicion, but I don’t think it’s right, because I haven’t seen what I think it is in a long time.)
Reed jolted from his sleep, sitting up. “Now I am.”

(They came outta nowhere… but me and my friend think that an MLP episode is to blame for inspiration….)

"Good" said Firiko. "We should get moving so we can find out what happened in Alkaliarias."

(Yep. I was right.)
“Right. Coming.”

(My version is floofier tho…)
"Good" firiko got to his feet

(Nice.)
Reed stood up, and straightened his clothing out.

"Aee you coming or not?" Asked firiko padding around impatiently.

“I’m coming, hold your horses, jeez.”

"Then come on already!" Said firiko who was ready to go.

Reed purposely went as slow as possible just to spite him. He smoothed his clothes out again and stepped toward Firiko(you couldn’t really call it walking) as slow as possible.

Firiko sighed and shook off the fluffleflies and padded up to Reed slipping under him in about 2 seconds then allowing the fluffleflies to land on both of them as Firiko padded along.

“What ARE these things?” Reed asked.

"These are fluffleflies" said Firiko flatly, not bothering to say anything more as he started off down the tree-branch causeway.

“Pardon?” Reed asked, not sure he’d heard right.

"They're fluffleflies" said Firiko once more, "They're harmless, adorable, and annoying." said Firiko shifting a little under Reed's weight.

“If you say so.”

"Don't worry about" said Firiko hopping down to another branch, losing a few of the floof's as he did so, (they come back) "They do this all the time, and it's actually a good thing, it means that there's no danger nearby. Which means we can relax, which means we can go our merry way until they leave, at which point we have to be careful."

“So it’s like a warning? Perfect!”

"Almost" said Firiko, "Except for one thing"
