Sol quickly parked and went around to get Joey’s door. His habit of getting doors was, partly, chivalry, but also a way of guarding him. “Okay, let’s head in and grab a cart,” he said with a smile.

"Okay!" Joey didn't seem to mind Sol opening the door for him, simply holding onto his hand as soon as he was able. He looked around the store once they were inside, trying to remember what it was that he needed to buy.
“Can we head over to the cleaning aisle first?” Sop asked, pushing a cart with one hand and holding Joey’s with the other.
"Yeah, sure!" Joey followed Sol closely, holding a bit tighter to his hand. "I think I need paper towels anyway."
Sol hummed, glancing over at Joey as they headed down the cleaning aisle. “Thought of what you needed yet?” he asked as they put things in the cart
Joey shook his head a bit. "No, not yet…" He grabbed some paper towels and put them on the cart. "Why can't I remember what I need?" He huffed a bit, trying to think.
“Maybe we could stop by each department to try to jog your memory?” Sop offered. “Was it a kitchen or bathroom item?”
Joey considered for a few seconds before he jolted a bit. "Bandages! I think it was bandages. I noticed I was low on them when I was looking through the cabinet the other day."
Sol hummed, brow furrowing slightly. “Well, we can get some,” he said. “Do you need very many? I have some at home, too.”
"Um… probably not like, a ton, but I'll get a roll of them or something." Joey shrugged a bit. "I could probably use some Band-Aids too…"
“Do you go through them quickly?” Sol asked as they walked down the aisle, grabbing some bandages, plus some antiseptic and ointment.
Joey shrugged a bit. "I guess so. I get a lot of paper cuts from the books and other injuries since I'm such a klutz." He laughed softly.
“I can heal then if you get hurt too badly, estello,” Sol offered quietly, sending Joey a gentle smile as he grabbed bandaids.
"I know, I know. It's still good to have the band-aids and stuff around, though. You're not over at my apartment or with me 24/7, after all." He shrugged a bit and stuck the bandages in the cart.
“You should definitely be prepared,” Sol agreed, taking Joey’s hand again as they continued shopping. “I just want you to know I’m here if you ever need it.”
Joey nodded a bit and linked his fingers with Sol's. "Yeah, I know. Thank you." He stood on his toes to kiss Sol's cheek before continuing on.
Sol smiled, gently squeezing Joey’s hand. He led them over to the dairy and juice aisle and grabbed milk and orange juice. “Is there anything you like?” he asked, looking over the other juices.
"Hm… I don't really like pulp, so I mostly like apple juice. Lemonade is pretty good too, though." Joey hummed thoughtfully as he looked up at the juice.
Sol nodded and grabbed one of each, putting them in the cart with the rest. “I need to grab some fruit, too. Do you have any preferences?” he asked.
"Hm…" Joey considered for a few seconds while he walked with Sol. "Raspberries maybe? I like most fruit, so I'll eat whatever."
“Sounds good!” After getting fruit, including raspberries, plus the other things they needed, Sol led them up to the registers. “Can you think of anything else before we go?”
"I don't think so, no." Joey kept close to Sol, humming contentedly. He looked around while Sol paid, fidgeting with his hands a bit.
Once he paid, Sol grabbed the bags, hanging them from an arm, and took Joey’s hand with his free one. “Want anything before we head back to my place?”
Joey shook his head a bit. "No, I think I'm alright. What time is it?" He asked, looking up at the sky to see if he could figure it out.
Sol looked up at the sky as well as he put the groceries in the car. “I’d say around four,” he replied. “Would you rather I take you home, love?”
"Mm… I can stick around with your a little longer. I'm not sure what I'd do by myself at home for that long."
Sol smiled with a nod. “Works for me.” It took a little while to get back with traffic, but soon they were at his apartment.
Joey headed inside with Sol, humming happily. "Maybe I'll have some fruit. It'll probably do me some good, yeah?"
“That would be good,” Sol agreed with a soft smile, going to the kitchen to put things up. “I have yogurt if you like them together, or a smoothie. I’m going to go put this stuff in the bathroom really quick, okay?”
"Just fruit is fine… and alright." Joey helped Sol put things away and grabbed himself some raspberries to eat.
