The person that walked by noticed the two were back and smiled. They kept walking not wanting to disturb their fake sleep.
River stoked a kiss from Cas before climbed up to his own bed.
Sleep away camp (lesbian/gay) (closed)
Cas blushed harder and turned so he was facing the wall, eventually actually falling asleep.
He kicked his legs up and down as he started to write. More people had started coming in from lunch and getting situated for rest hour. Everyone started to quiet down once rest hour was called. The hour felt short, but River didn't mind. Once it was over everyone left to activities, but River stayed behind to wake Cas up. "Cas the Cutie, it's time to get up~" River whispered.
Cas whined softly and rubbed at his eyes, glancing over his shoulder at River. "But I'm sleeeepiiiing…"
River got on his bed and hovered over Cas. "But it's activity time," he started to kiss Cas's neck.
He blushed a bit and reluctantly opened his eyes. "What're we gonna do, anyways?"
"Well, I'm doing archery, I don't know about you though," he said and kissed River's forehead.
"I'll probably just follow you around, to be honest…" He sat up, sighing.
"No boating?" he questioned.
Cas rolled his eyes. "Sure. Maybe I'll break my other foot this time?"
”Hey, you were only distracted. If you want I can boat with you if you feel like you're going to break your foot again. I don't mind.” River smiled getting off Cas. ”Let’s walk, we need to get going we are not allowed to be in the bung right now.” he pulled Cas up from the bed.
"Okay…" Cas took River's hand and walked out with him, yawning tiredly. He was still wearing River's clothes, which were much too big for him.
They walked to the doc, greeted the boat instructors then got a boat ready for cas. He got life Jackets and paddles. ”Ready?”
He nodded and put his life jacket on, tentatively stepping into the boat.
River did the same and started to move his paddle in stroke. They moved forward and turned to get out of the shallow end.
Cas moved his paddle as well with shaking hands. He stayed quiet, but he was clearly still nervous.
”Hey, Cas?” River looked behind him. River had felt the boat shake as Cas’s hands shook.
"Yeah?" He asked quietly, fighting to keep his voice even and not looking at River.
”I’m here okay, no reason to be nervous. I'm right here, ” River smiled and pecked Cas on his forehead.
Cas glanced up, but he didn't seem very reassured. "But what if we fall in?"
”You trust me right?” River asked.
"I mean… y-yeah…"
"Then trust me when I tell you there is nothing to be worried about. Also, my name is River. A freakin body of water how you not trust me. I also pasted every boating test," River added.
"I'm just… I'm scared of falling in because I can't swim…" Cas started shaking a bit more and he tightened his grip on his paddle.
"I'll still be here you know and if you really need me to I will swim you back to short. Not joking. Seriously, We'll be fine. You'll be fine," River smiled. "They teach you how to swim you know."
Cas shrugged, closing his eyes and trying to focus on something else. He kept moving the paddle, but he was still making the boat shake.
Once they were far enough River stopped paddling and turned around. River stole a light kiss from Cas and smiled.
Cas blushed and tentatively looked up at River. Just focus on him… don't look at the water… He forced himself to keep his eyes on River, though he could still see the water in his peripheral vision.
River held Cas's hand and lightly kissed them. "Just focus on me. Nothing else. Just look at me," River smiled pulling a strand of hair behind Cas's ear.
Cas nodded, holding his breath and ignoring the blue at the corners of his vision. "I… I-I love you…" He whispered, having to take a couple short breaths after doing so.
