River kissed him and pushed Cas’s tongue back in his mouth. “Yes. You. Are.”

@Fraust

Cas melted into the kiss, his muffled protests fading to nothing.

River pulled Cas close leaning back onto Cas's bed. Once River let go of the kiss there was a line of saliva connecting the two.

@Fraust

Cas licked his lips and disconnected the string, looking up at River with half lidded eyes.

"We'll finish this later," River smiled and rolled over. People started coming the bung, talking and laughing. "What do you think is for dinner tonight?"

@Fraust

"Dunno… food, probably." Cas curled against River's side, sighing contentedly.

River chuckled and stroked Cas's hair. "It's our third week of camp already, team show is coming next and then…I forget what happens in second session."

@Fraust

"Mm… Do you have any idea what we're doing for the team thing?" He asked. "I hardly know how it works."

"Nope, we find out when the time comes," he smiled and kissed Cas's head.

@Fraust

"Alrighty…" He huddled closer to River to steal his warmth. "I'm always freezing… how come you get to be warm?"

"That I do not know. What I do know is that you're cute," River smiled.

@Fraust

Cas huffed and moved closer. "I think it's because I have zero body fat."

"You have some body fat," River nodded. "Well, only a little bit, but don't worry about it. Not a big deal."

@Fraust

"You calling me fat?" Cas teased, sticking his tongue out again.

"Nope I'm calling you skinny and sexy," he smirked.

@Fraust

Cas blushed, any confidence he had crumbling. "O-Oh… um…"

"Yes?" River asked with a smirk. "Well, at least you didn't disagree."

@Fraust

He stayed quiet, unsure what to say. He looked away with his blush growing gradually deeper.

The called flag on the loudspeaker and people started to move. River got up and s,iled pulling Cas up with him. "Flag time!"

@Fraust

Cas followed him out for flag, glad he could actually walk to it himself this time.

Everyone lined up and stood silent when they called attention. They rolled the flag down, called solute, and folded it and gave it to the director. The director called dismissed and they all started to leave to the dining hall. River stretched and started walking.

@Fraust

"I've always wondered why we do that all the time." Cas said, walking alongside River.

"When you go to school don't you say the pledge of allegiance in the morning?" River asked.

@Fraust

"Uh… I was homeschooled, so no." Cas shrugged. "I know it happens, which is another reason I wonder why."

"Well, we have to honor our country somehow right? It's our way of showing that we will respect our country and all the things we fought through to get to this point. So, it's important to do that at least once in a while," River smiled.

@Fraust

"I suppose so. It just seems kind of weird to be pledging allegiance to a flag." He shrugged, not slowing his pace.

(History lesson time!)
"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States. The lyrics come from the Defence of Fort M'Henry, a poem written on September 14, 1814, by the then 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Key was inspired by the large U.S. flag, with 15 stars and 15 stripes, known as the Star-Spangled Banner, flying triumphantly above the fort during the U.S. victory. Wow, that is a mouth full. That's why we say the pledge of allegiance and sing the star-spangled banner." He said.

@Fraust

Cas seemed a little surprised. "…How and why do you know all that, love?"

(I pulled that straight from Wikipedia XD)
"Well, our history teacher made us memorize it, so no one would have to ask questions about the war of 1812 again," River gave a light shiver.

@Fraust

(Lol)
Cas laughed a bit. "Well, my dad's a shitty teacher in addition to a shitty person, so I'm really not good at much of anything academic. I'm barely literate, honestly."
