"I mean…you're a really old healer, you're a really cool 'balance keeper' or whatever with wings, and I'm a paramedic with. Butterfly wings. I mean, honestly, at this point you all could tell me you killed the dinosaurs and I'd probably believe it." Sita indicated each person, including herself, then turning to Michi. "You, um, you're into me then."

"I- yeah, I do. You've got spunk. And you're hot." Michi looked slightly embarrassed. She was so much older than this girl.

"You think so?" Sita tilted her head at Michi and fluttered her wings. "Thank god."

Michi looked slightly confused. Hinata smiled.
You think I would just up and tell her that if I didn't have a reason?
"Oh my god Hinata. You didn't." Michi was slightly flabbergasted at her sister.
"Oh, I most certainly did." Hinata laughed.
"What did she do? You know, things would be a lot less confusing if you just. You know. Spoke." Sita tossed a cornrow over her shoulder, glancing between the two again.

"You think I would spill juicy information like that without reason?" Hinata said cryptically.
"She read your mind." Michi lightly slapped Hinata on the arm. Hinata pretended to be hurt.
"Ah! The healer strikes out in anger!"
"She read my - you did what now? What exactly did you read?" Sita turned to Hinata, clenching one fist out of habit and fluttering her wings. She may appear to be a healing butterfly, but boy was she a firecracker sometimes.

"That you like her too." Hinata winked. Michi gasped.
"You don't do that to people Hinata!" Michi facepalmed, embarrassed for her sister.
"I'm sorry! She was basically screaming it!"
"What? I was not." Sita challenged, glancing over at Michi, then back to Hinata. "Can't you filter it or anything? Like, 'do not disturb on Sita' or something."

"I have it set up to pick up any thoughts pertaining to my sister directly. Plus, the more emotional the thought, the louder it is." Hinata seemed unfazed by Sita's challenging demeanor. Michi groaned and put her face in her hands.
"I told you she was too overprotective of me."
"Well, it certainly was not loud at all." Sita stepped back to look at Michi. "You really weren't joking."

Michi shook her head, which was still in her hands.
"Unfortunately, no…"
Sita took another glance back at Hinata. "Well, you know what, this has been one absolute rollercoaster of an afternoon, I must admit." She walked over to Michi and lifted the top of her head from her hands. "However, that does not mean I'm not on call anymore."

"Right. I understand." Michi blushed lightly. Hinata stepped over.
"We should get going anyways." She put her hand on her sister's shoulder.
Sita tilted her head at Michi again. "Hey, I didn't say just leave forever. You can't just leave after that. I need your number."

"Here." Michi reached into her pocket and pulled out a business card. It said Michi Hayashi, PD058 - 001 -001- 0001.
"Don't try to put this in your phone. Just say it out loud and we'll be connected."
Sita raised an eyebrow, glancing suspiciously at the card and then up at Michi. "You know what, why not. I've seen enough of all that today to start believing you when you say stuff." She relaxed, took the card, and put it in her pocket. "Well…"

"Well… bye, I guess." Michi turned to her sister, then paused. Quickly, she turned back around and kissed Sita lightly on the cheek. She then hurried over to her sister, who opened a blue portal. She stepped through. Now Hinata was alone on the roof with Sita.
"If you do anything to hurt Michi's feelings I will personally ensure you die." She smiled sweetly, then stepped through the portal.
"Wow. Um. Okay…" Sita stuttered as Hinata closed the portal behind her. She had the knowledge she should probably get down pretty soon, but she also had the knowledge that Michi had just. Freaking kissed her. On the cheek. And her giant hawk sister had just personally threatened her.

Michi breathed deeply, opening a portal to Sita's dimension. She stepped through, arriving in the back alley behind the hospital. She walked around to the front. She had timed it so she would arrive as Sita was finishing being on-call.
The automatic doors opened and Sita let out a held breath as she stepped into the warm night air. This was a hot day, so she'd worn a military tank top, cargo pants, and as always, the medic armband to work. She shook her cornrows as her feet hit the pavement.

Michi looked up. There she was. She herself had not realized how hot it would be, so she slipped her jacket off, revealing a blue halter top. She tied her jacket around her waist, then made her way towards Sita.
Sita looked up at Michi - surprised, but smiling. drutfgyhujioihygu "Hey."

"Hey." Michi fell into a pass that matched Sita's, walking next to her.
"It's good to see you again."
"Same to you." Sita's cornrows fell over her shoulder as she looked down nervously, then back up at Michi. "Yesterday was interesting."
