Soulmate au
Eden came back out, name tag on, smile equipped. She caught Jack’s eye, giving him a little wink before taking her place re pricing items.
A coworker comes over to her and asks if he’s that guy. This is someone Eden can trust not to throw a hissy fit at management, so she says yes. The coworker waves at Jack in excitement.
Eden gushed about how great he is while she scans merchandise. The other one reshelves fallen goods to look productive. They begin to move down the aisle as Eden finishes sections.

Eden clocked out, saying goodbye to a few of her co workers, then went out to find Jack.
Eden laughed, gently waking him up, “You look like a homeless person. Someone is gonna call the cops on you,” she teased.
“True, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t tell you to sleep ona bench. But it doesn’t really matter, because my shift is over and we can leave.”
“Yeah….Come on! We are free of adult responsibility now!” She played.
