So this is an RP I had a little while ago. I'd completely forgotten about it until I was reminded about it (by something I can't remember right now). Before, it didn't really have a plot. Now I do, but it'd be better explained once the two characters are posted. And, unfortunately, I do have to be Abigail for this to work.

Abigail Parker's whole family minus her mother disappeared 5 years ago. It's as if Abigail - and someone else - is the only one who knows they even existed. So when she finds a clue that could answer all her questions, she knows who she has to talk to. Her former best friend since basically forever and old flame of 3 years. Blake Williamson. Will they ignore the sparks between them, for the sake of Abigail's family? Or will they give in and let the fire ignite?

For RPers who are more on the experienced side - or if I know your style.

They haven't seen each other for 4 years.

Template will be posted should someone join.

Hi! Could I join?

(i mean other than the 'blake williamson' thing, not really)

Name: Blake Williamson
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual (leaning to girls)
Appearance: (detailed, no links unless described) very sculpted and noble-looking features, quite a hollow look to his face/ retroussé nose / Wide-set almond-shaped eyes, tawny with grey reflections, short thick eyelashes / Pale olive skin tone, always a slightly flushed complexion / Full but well-groomed eyebrows, sandy brown hair with natural blond highlights, on the longer side about to his chin, wavy and tamed, clean-shaven face / 5'9, 165 lbs, lithe and reasonably muscular figure on an otherwise long frame

Style: (day-to-day clothing) simple pair of jeans, often merch t-shirts, casual vests, black converses, comfort over style most of the time but can clean up nicely

Personality: sarcastic but very considerate and aware of others - too empathetic and tries to stay away from too much emotion for fear of breaking. Snappy, smart and energetic, has got a sort of swagger that disappears when you get to know him. Errs on the side of caution when getting to know people, very honest and would rather come across as rude than lie. Loyal until the end, above all he values the people he trusts. Has got a very controlled temper, and even if you manage to anger him he'll try hard to keep calm-if you set him off though, you're already dead, very opinionated and confident in his beliefs

Likes: debates, bright places, reading, honesty, friends, rain and storms, scrabble, connect 4 and cluedo
Dislikes: liars/lying, routine and habits, confined spaces, crowds, all other board games, sitting around, people who aren't aware of others' feelings

Background: only child, mother died in childbirth and his father, unable to get over it, put Blake into the foster system. He was adopted at age 12 by a very sweet woman, Terese, who raised. She loved him a lot but couldn't afford him after a while and he was taken from her and put back in the system, where he stayed until he turned 18. He then bought himself a studio, got a job as a clerk to eventually save up for college

Name: Abigail Parker. Parker is her nickname, very few call her Abi or Abigail
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Parker has medium brown skin with freckles. Her hair is waist length, wavy and black. Her eyes are unusual, one being green and one being blue, which is strange for a black woman. She has thick, full lips and is rarely seen without makeup.
Style: Anything comfortable. Jeans, flowy shirts, denim jackets, block-heeled boots.
Personality: Kind, caring, fierce, determined, confident, sometimes shy
Likes: Her family, makeup, singing, playing piano, yellow
Dislikes: Her family being missing, having left Blake with a fight
Background: Parker is the second oldest of 4 girls. She loves her family, and they never fought. Katelyn (23); Abigail; Rachael (18); Taylor (14). They all disappeared when she was 16, all except her mother. All their things vanished too, except for one thing from each sister. Katelyn’s necklace with a constellation frox pendant, Rachael’s constellation ring and Taylor’s constellation soccer charm bracelet. She wears them constantly.

Parker paid for the taxi and got out, yellow umbrella a complete contrast to the dark of the street. She walked up to Blake's lit porch, taking deep breaths. She hadn't planned coming back really, but something had come up that she couldn't miss. Taking one last deep breath, she rang the doorbell.

(btw its raining)

(sorry i took so long)

(all good, my turn to apologize)

Blake had been sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of a rerun when his doorbell rang.
Enthralled by the TV screen, he ignored it, settling more comfortably on the carpeted floor.

She waited a bit before ringing it again. Come on Blake. Open the door, She thought, heel tapping the ground. Don't make my trip out here all for nothing!

(oh jeez I'm sorry)
Letting out a frustrated breath, he may forward on his stomach and switched the TV off.
With a groan he got to his feet and padded over to the door. He raked a hand through his hair and, through the door, asked "Who is it?"

"Noah?" She asked upon hearing his voice. "Um…it's uh…it's Parker." She didn't know if he would open the door to see her or how he would react.

Blake frowned, hand on the door handle. "I think you've got the wrong house, ma'am," he offered a moment, ignoring the tingle of familiarity associated with the voice.

She shook her head. "No, I don't. Look, it's Abigail. Abigail Parker. You know me."

(sorry i used the wrong name myself lol)

(I also forgot about her nickname ^^)
Blake's face tightened and he stepped away from the door. "Parker," he repeated, a strange anger settling over him. "What do you want?"
(what was their fight about?)

"I guess I just wanted to apologise," She sighed. She hoped that he would open the door for her. "Also…I found something about my sisters."

(well in the other rp that this was rebooted from, parker was so focused on finding her sisters that her grades dropped and she started missing school.
blake didn't like that and when he confronted parker, she accused him of not wanting her to find her sisters)

(aah got it)
Drawing in a breath, Blake yanked the door open without letting Parker in. Leaning against the door frame, he eyed his friend– she hadn't changed at all, except maybe looking a little more tired. Which meant she was as beautiful as ever.
"I hope whatever you found was worth it, then."

"Of course it is. I wouldn't have come if it didn't," She sighed, realising that he wasn't going to let her in. "And I guess it gave me a reason to apologise to you."

Ignoring the last part, he nodded at her. "So what did you find, then?" he asked somewhat brusquely.

"I found one of Katelyn's old lockets hidden behind the couch when I cleaned," She replied. She had stayed in her mother's house to look after her rather than leaving home. "I found a piece of paper in it."

As much as he hated it, Blake still cared. "Go on," he told with forced disinterest.

"I read the piece of paper, and I recognised the writing immediately as Katelyn's. It said: I'm sorry Parker, but we can't stay here any longer. We would take you with us, but Mother needs some one to look after her. You're her favourite, she won't hurt you in any way. If you wish to find us after reading this, go to the place when we were all five."

Blake frowned, now curious. "What place would that be?"

person_off

"It's the wheat fields at Crystal Falls. Whenever we went there, we always felt like we were five."

Blake studied Parker a moment– the memories were all poking at him, begging him to get over his grudge.
"Just come in," he sighed, stepping aside.

She looked at him thankfully and then walked in, the warmth of the house heating her up. She looked around the familiar home: it had barely changed.
