Blake had also registered this, and gently pulled away. "Off we go, then."
Hitching up his backpack, he grabbed his car keys and started towards the front door grabbing a coat as he went.
Star Light, Star Bright (REBOOT) // One-On-One // CLOSED
Parker sighed, following after him. She wasn't sure how this expedition was going to end, but she knew that Blake was the only person who could help her.
Fighting hard not to turn and look at Parker, he gingerly walked down his alley to the parked car in the street. "You'll have to enter the address," he told her as he pressed the button to unlock the doors.
"I don't know the exact address," She said, almost sheepishly. "And there's no exact address online either."
Blake couldn't help but smile. "There's room for improvising, then."
He waited for her to be settled in the car, and started the engine. With a decisive rumble, they set off.
Parker looked out the window, watching the scenery as it zoomed pass. It had been a while since she'd been in a car with Blake, and it felt nice.
Though silence was quick to fall, the feeling of being together overtook what could have been awkward. And though it had been a while… Blake loved her company just as much.
After a while, he pushed in a CD and the music kicked in.
As much as she disliked it, Parker felt herself starting to sing along. At first it was merely a whisper, as if scared to sing. Then it became louder, more confident.
Blake quickly joined in, the lyrics leaving his lips on mostly flat notes, but still fun to sing. "Streetlights, people, livin' just a fine emotion!" he sang loudly, one hand flailing about as he went.
Parker smiled, not wanting to say anything for fear of being interpreted the wrong way.
(please tell me you know that song)
Though he tried to continue, Parker's silence was slightly intimidating. Then he realized— was she really in the mood for singing when they were on the way to investigate her family's disappearance?
Feeling like an insensitive idiot, he fell quiet.
(I don't, and since I'm kinda busy rn, I'm gonna let this die
Sorry)
(Don't worry, it's alright. We should probably delete the topic, save some space)
