I struggled with modern type rps so I tend to lean towards fantasy settings

Maybe this:
Character A works at tavern and barely scrapes by. A lives in a small room in the tavern that A's boss is constantly upping the rent. Tips are barely enough to pay for bills let alone anything for their personal life.
Character B is a child of the Lord governing the town. B stopped in one time at the tavern A works at and was immediately infatuated with A. B kept coming back just to see A but never truly acted on these desires.

Jason sighed, setting down his rag as he took another order. He looked up, and, that face… looked familiar?

Stefan was sitting oh so casually in this little tavern, by himself this tome which really made him all the more suspicious. His fingers were drumming on the table as he waited for the very attractive waiter to come his way and take his drink order

"Hello sir, what can I get for you today?" Jason asked the familiar, and slightly handsome, customer.

Stefan felt his body straighten and tense as the waiter aporached him, and he had to force himself to relax so not to make a fool of himself. There was no reason for him to be so nervous. It was only the waiter that he had a huge crush on and- "An ale, please. And your finest sandwich."

"And ale? We only have regular ale. Not sure what and ale is. As for the sandwich, we have a few different options. Tell me, what kind of meat would you prefer?"

Stefan pursed his lips. Perhaps this was a sign he shouldn't drink ale. It did taste like piss water anyways. Trying to be cool did not sit well with him it would seem. "Red wine, then, something sweet. And ham preferably but whatever you think is best."
