Teenagers being teenagers//OxO//CLOSED

Lunette added a polite smile of her own, resting one hand on her little purse as she looked up at the teacher.

"Hello? Mr. Black?" Clover asked after she got no response from the teacher. She drummed her fingers on her leg in time with a song she sight read in band.

(Oh I'm the teacher lol)
He glanced up from the work he was doing. "Hmm? Oh, yes… as long as you don't have any other work, feel free to go. Just be back before next period."

(Lol yeah)

"Thank you so much! See you later." Clover said smiling again. She looked over to Lunette then turned around to head to the door.

"Merci!" Lunette waved and followed Clover, grinning as well. "Which cafe are we going to?" She asked once they were out.

"Eh, I forgot the name, but we'll find out soon enough," Clover answered. She continued out of the school, going to the parking lot over to her car. She fished around in her backpack for her keys as they got to her car. She unlocked her car and opened the door, sitting down in the driver's seat.

Lunette got into the passenger side and buckled herself in. "Ready!" She announced, still grinning. "I am excited! Are you?"

"Of course I am! It's my favorite cafe and I'll never get tired of it." Clover said as she started the car and backed out of the parking spot. She circled some cars then pulled out of the school.

"I am glad to experience it, then. I like to see people's favorite things and places." Lunette watched the cars go by outside her window.

"Great! It's just a short drive, so we'll be there soon." Clover said smiling with a glance to Lunette, then back to the road. She turned on the radio, a song the liked playing. She started singing to it quietly.

Lunette listened quietly to Clover for a minute or two. Considering how little she knew about american songs, she hadn't heard it before, but she liked listening. "You have a nice voice." She said after a bit.

Clover glanced over to Lunette, smiling. "Thank you! I want to be able to write music and release songs and stuff, but I couldn't write a song if my life depends on it. I only cover songs from time to time." She explained, pulling into a parking space and stopping the car.

"I could try to help you, if you would like." Lunette offered. "I have written a song or two before, although not in English. Just in French."

"Oh that would be nice! We should definitely do that sometime!" Clover said excitedly as she unbuckled her seatbelt. She unlocked the car and got out, waiting for Lunette.

Lunette stepped out as well and stretched a bit as she looked up at the cafe. "It looks very nice." She observed. "I like it."

"It is very nice, just wait 'til you try to coffee and pastries!" Clover said as they went inside. The register was to the left of the door with a whole bunch of tables everywhere else. There were also a few couches with pillows. There were plants in pots and some seemed to be from the wall instead. The cafe had a warm cinnamon and coffee smell.

Lunette followed Clover, looking around curiously. When they reached the counter, she ordered a coffee with cream and sugar and a chocolate croissant.

Clover ordered an iced mocha and a banana chocolate chip muffin. She paid for both of their orders, smiling all the while. "Where do you want to sit?"

"Anywhere is fine with me." They eventually decided on sitting by the window and Lunette took a bite of her croissant. Not really French quality, but not bad. "How is your muffin?"

"Absolutely amazing. I love this place so much, it's probably my favorite cafe in town." Clover said before taking another bite of her muffin. She was a regular customer, so many employees knew that she always got an iced mocha, pastries always different. "How's your croissant?"

"It is good." Lunette smiled, taking another bite. "I take it that you come here rather often?" She asked politely.

"Of course. I come here as often as I can. It's a really nice place to do homework or just hang out. I'll probably put in an application to work here soon actually." Clover explained, sipping her coffee afterword.

"That would be fun. I was a waitress in France, but I had to quit when I came to America." Lunette hummed softly as she looked around. "I always liked it."

"Hey! We could work here together!" Clover said maybe a little too excitedly. She giggled at her volume and took a bite of her muffin.

"Sure. That could be fun if we both got hired." Lunette smiled as well, thinking Clover's excitement was rather cute.

"We should both apply soon!" Clover said smiling and glanced out the window. "I hope it all works out, good luck in advance!"

"Good luck to you as well, Clover." Lunette finished her food and started sipping her coffee, which was now cool enough to drink.
