The Author and the Character (Closed, PM me if you want to have an rp with this idea)

“You don’t get to surrender. You lose when I say you lose, you win when I say you win, you die when I say you die. I haven’t said you can die yet. Pick your weapon up”

Okay, here me out: Person A is writing a story. Person B, the main character, realizes they are being controlled by Person A and is resisting. Person A realizes Person B is real and is just rolling with it as they continue writing the story they already had planned out. Person B, in the middle of the big climactic fight, throws their weapon down. Person A grows frustrated and tries to force Person B to continue the fight.

Our hero leaps through the blazing fire, reaching to take her hand. Then they
Sam stared at the unfinished sentence on his screen. Then, after a moment, he rested his head on his desk.
"What do they do then?" He mumbled, having a short spurt of writer's block. He had been working on this story for a while now, but it was unoften he would come across a situation he didn't know what his protagonist would do.

(Sorry, I had gym class)
Sam tapped his fingers irritatedly against the wood of his desk, banging his head slightly.
"Oh god…" He looked up at the scene again, deciding to reread the last few scenes.
"Storming the castle… finding the girl… encounter with the king…" he murmured, skimming through the lines of text. Finally, he sighed, deleting some of the last lines. He started to type again.
Melanie faced the king with determination in her eyes. "We shall not suffer under you any longer!" Sam paused, fingers hovering over the keyboard.
"No, that doesn't feel right either."

Sam blinked a few times, staring at the screen.
"What the hell?" He muttered. He read the lines on the screen again.
"I did not write that." He rubbed his eyes, refreshing the page a few times. No, the line stayed the same.
"What the f*ck?!"

Sam stared at the screen as the words typed out. That wasn't the only thing either. He could see Mel, in his mind, turning to look somewhere else to talk to him. His jaw dropped, and his eyes grew wide.
"WHAT THE F—!" He yelled, falling out of his chair to the floor. He scooted away, back bumping against the wall of his room.
"WHAT THE F—!" He repeated.

"What's going on?!" Sam asked hysterically, confused and terrified. This was impossible- the things he was seeing Mel doing in his mind he could have explained away as him just being bored and fooling around with ideas. But the words showing up on his computer? No, something was going on, and he had no idea what to do.

"There's nothing wrong with cliché stories…" Sam muttered. He slowly stood back up, walking towards the desk again.
"And I can't be expected to be working on the story all the time. I have school, and work, and obligations!" He sat down, rubbing his forehead lightly. He was going crazy; he was in a fight with his main character, and her words were appearing on his computer screen.

Sam pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Whenever I do get time to write my brain is already dead and I'm half asleep. I'm not about to start writing some sh-tpost story just to keep you happy! I'm going to write when I'm able to, and I'm going to make a d-mn good story out of this."
