"There's a place. It's not good, but it's cheap and we get some privacy." Already, Zia (and Sam) was referring to then as a pair.
With a spark of lingering hatred towards Sam, Melanie nodded. "I'm sorry. I know I should be more courteous towards someone like you, but I believe that this is all I can afford, maybe some food as well, but that's it. Thanks though."
