Kono cocked his head slightly to the side, confused. "What are they thanking me for?"
The Dragon // One on One // Closed
Gemini shook her head, sighing. "No, that's just - that's just the way the story is written. They're not actually thanking you."
"Okay…" Kono fell silent, trying to make sense of the words on the page.
Gemini cleared her throat. "They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense," she read, briefly looking up.
Kono stayed quiet, following the words with his eyes, but still not really making any connection.
"Mr. Dursley was the director of a firm called Grunnings, which made drills. He was a big, beefy man with hardly any neck, although he did have a very large mustache. Mrs. Dursley was thin and blonde with nearly twice the normal amount of neck," she read, snickering slightly.
Kono made a strange trilling sound from confusion. "Is she a dragon??"
Gemini burst out laughing. "No, she's just abnormal," she explained.
Kono trilled again, looking at the small picture at the top of the page. His tail flicked a bit, and he had the tips of his wings curled around himself.
