The Hero and The Villain (Closed)

~Plot~
It’s an almost perfect world, no one having experienced major conflict in the past 20 years. The city of Anesia is the capital of this free world. People from all over the world, good and bad, can go there freely. It’s the most beautiful city on Earth, and it’s also the most violent. In recent years the city has been protected by a hero known as Electrica. The hero is constantly putting down any dangers to the city. While it hasn’t been confirmed, some believe Electrica is working with the international government. However, everything’s been relatively peaceful since she arrived, so no one complains. That is until about 6 months ago. A series of assassinations and attacks began on government rallies and meetings. All of these attacks were by one faceless villain. The media referred to this person as Dark Ride. The government has been even more paranoid than usual and the city is on unofficial lockdown. You are in the middle of all of this, having to watch what you say and do. After all, you have powers too. Then you meet him, and everything changes.

The Hero
Name: Electrica
Real Name: Unknown
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Powers: She can manipulate light or electricity into any form she wants. How stable or what she can make all depends on the amount of light in the area.
Appearance: She has boy cut chocolate brown hair. She wears a gold colored mask that covers the top half of her face, starting at her hairline and stretches down past her nose on the right side of her face. She wears a gold body suit with a yellow lightning bolt down the center.

The Villain
Name: Dark Ride
Real Name: Unknown
Gender: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Powers: Wields dark matter that can be turned into any form of weapon. They fight best when in complete darkness, so most of their attacks are in the middle of the night.
Appearance: Wears black body armor that covers them from head to toe. It’s molded to their body so it’s light, but it can also take a lot of damage. It appears to be made out of some type of scales on the outside.

~Rules and Guidelines~

1. This role play IS mature. This includes violence, gore, swearing, angst, and ya know, rOmAnCe
2. This is a LONG TERM ROLE PLAY which means you must be committed to it. Please do your best to be online at least once a day.
3. If I’m already role playing with you at the moment, you can’t join this. This is mostly because I’ll get confused.

Just for a heads up in case this impacts your character choice, my character’s the dominant self-confident type. He’s nice once you get to know him I swear.

Okay, one sec.

Name: Kyle ‘Kai’ Rurrow
Age: 20
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi-sexual
Appearance: Small-ish but not much bellow average height, toned-ish and fairly strong. On the paler side and has a slight tan in the summer months, soft and shortish black hair that is always messy and looks like he has constantly run his hand through it from agitation, dull blue, icey eyes.
Personality: Level headed, loyal to the few he cares about. Will be kind to those who deserve it, mainly kids, the poor and other innocents. He is a hard working student studying forensic science. He isn’t introverted but he isn’t extroverted either. He is kind and caring unless he dislikes you. Hates the rich and the snobbish. Can fight and will fight is he needs too. Hot headed at times, perfectionist, intelligent.
Powers: Can control/create ice and snow- Elsa but in male form pretty much.
Background: Kyle was abandoned on the streets as a young child, given off to a homeless Cuban woman when he was about three years old (He ended up learning how to speak both Spanish and English because of her background) His parents already had two older children, teenagers, and they didn’t want another child so they dropped him. They were very rich and snobbish from what Kyle learnt about them in later years.
He took to learning an education from studying in the local library for many years before he eventually got a job. The woman who was looking after him died when he was about 10 and he lived on the streets for another five years before he was put into foster care. He went to school and was surprisingly more intelligent then a lot of kids there. He was a subject of bullying and harassment, he also developed depression, anxiety and took to self harm during these final years at school. Has tried to commit suicide twice.

The wind whipped harshly around the city streets, the grey overcast sky making the day feel duller then it already was. Spots of rain were beginning to fall and people rushed around trying to find cover before what would be a heavy down pour. Kyle lifted the collar of his leather jacket up, regretting wearing fingerless gloves on a day like today as he stuffed them in his pockets. Not having time to find somewhere more to his liking, he ducked into a small cafe for warmth and to get out of the rain.

Uh… no. Does he need one because I can give him one if you need me too.

Gender: Male
Appearance: He’s about average height, even though he has a slim frame, he’s pretty strong. He has very pale skin that greatly contrasts with his shock of red hair. His hair sticks up everywhere, it literally can’t be tamed, I doubt he even owns a brush. He has bright green eyes that seem to grow brighter whenever he laughs or smiles (which is rare but it happens).
Personality: He has a flaring temper concealed under mountains of charm. He’s kind of that guy that tries to pick you up at the club every two seconds, except he actually respects your boundaries. He also doesn’t just hand out respect or trust for free, you have to do something to earn it. If you do piss him off enough, he’ll beat you down.

It was a hot, sunny day. The heat of the sun burning through Kyle's clothes like there was no tomorrow. He'd always hated summer, and for someone with frost powers it made everything even worse. The streets were crowded with people going there own ways, everyone ignoring him like he was invisible. But he didn't care, actually, he liked not being noticed and right now his focus was on getting home.

Caleb sat in a small cafe, he currently occupied a small table in the shaded corner. It was his day off and he intended to make the most of it. He swirled the iced coffee around in his cup before taking a sip. He turned his eyes to the television, reporting on recent news. “Last night, at around 7 pm, a public morale rally was attacked by Dark Ride. This is the third attack by Dark Ride in this week alone…”

Kyle entered a small cafe, feeling the need to grab a drink before he spent the rest of the day at home. He frowned when he heard the news, shaking his head with a sigh before he quickly placed his drink order and waited. It was colder in here and Kyle was glad of it.

Caleb looked up at the tinkling of the bells above the door. It was just a normal guy…thank goodness, all these attacks throughout the city had him on edge. ‘Hey…’ he thought to himself ‘he may just be a normal person but he’s pretty cute’

Soon enough, Kyle's drink was finished and he took it gladly. He smiled at the girl behind the counter before taking a seat. He noticed out the corner of his eye, a guy staring which caused him to blush. He looked down and tried to calm himself a little. It's fine. He's probably not looking at you anyway…

Caleb noticed the guy blush and chuckled lightly under his breath. ‘We got his attention. Let’s see where this goes’ he thought, straightening up in his seat. He set his coffee down, placing his chin in his hand, and continued to observe the guy.

Kyle tried to keep his attention away from Mr Mysterious in the corner but he kept peaking glances and tried not to be obvious but failed. Miserably. He took a drink from his cup, setting it down gently before he bit his lip and took out his phone. No messages. He sighed. You've got no friends to talk to anyway so why would you care? He looked away from the phone somewhat sorrowfully.

‘Aw he really is just adorable isn’t he?’ He thought to himself. ‘We could…go talk to him…or we could leave him flustered.’ He chuckled quietly again. That’d be much more fun.
