Kyle blushed, placing one more kiss to his jaw before pulling away slightly.

“Morning” Caleb said “or…late afternoon I guess?” He chuckled, pulling Kyle close again.
Kyle giggled, snuggling into Caleb, “A-Afternoon…”
Caleb smiled. “Well that was a nice nap” he said before remembering. “Fuck…I have work in like two hours,” he groaned.
Kyle whined at that, hugging Caleb tightly and hiding his face in his chest. It’s not like that would do anything to stop Caleb leaving, he was lighter and smaller so he’d be easy to move.
Caleb rested his head on top of Kyle’s head. “Oh my gosh where are you?” He said jokingly, as if he couldn’t find him. “Kyle? Where’d you go?”
Kyle giggled, “Narnia… I’ve gone to Narnia…” He said, voice muffled from the position.
“Sounds like a fun place to be. Can I go with you?”
He nodded slightly, “Yup. Only if you don’t go to work…”
He sighed. “You know I love you. But sadly I do have to go to work”
Kyle whimpered softly, “B-But what i-if I have another a-attack? Wh-What if that d-dome thing h-happens again?”
“It’s okay, it’s just for a few hours. Maybe try going back to sleep?”
He nodded a little but he snuggled into Caleb more as if it was one last attempt to get him to stay.
Caleb just kissed the top of his head gently.
Kyle sighed, sniffing a little.
“I shouldn’t be gone too long” he whispered, hugging him tightly.
“Y-You’re still gonna be gone…” He mumbled.
“I know. Want me to give you Veronica’s number in case something happens?”
Kyle nodded, though he didn’t make a move to let Caleb get up and do so.
Caleb grinned before standing up, just carrying Kyle in his arms bridal style.
Kyle squeaked, hands wrapping around Caleb’s neck so he didn’t fall, “C-Caleb!”
“Well you weren’t gonna move soooo” he said with a wide grin.
Kyle sighed softly and hid his face again.
His brow furrowed slightly in worry. “Hey..everything’s gonna be okay”
“Wh-What if it’s not?” He whispered.
“It is. And if it’s not you can call Veronica and she can come help.” He said reassuringly
He still wasn’t too convinced but he nodded.
“You know I wouldn’t go if I thought something bad would happen to you”
“I-I know…” He swallowed.
Caleb sighed before carrying him to the kitchen.
