Kyle sniffed and nodded, carefully moving himself off Caleb’s lap.

Caleb quickly grabbed some bandaids and came back
Kyle looked up from where he'd been staring when Caleb came back.
Caleb gently took his arm, slowly bandaging him up.
Kyle whispered softly from time to time but didn’t put up a fight.
After a minute or two, he was finished. He just pulled Kyle against his chest again.
Kyle hid his face in his chest, sniffling.
“It’s okay” he whispered into Kyle’s ear
He didn’t respond, mainly because he didn’t believe it.
Caleb sighed softly and hugged him tightly.
Kyle hugged him back, trying to hide himself even more.
“Hey babe, I bet you could fit under my sweater with me if you wanted to” he offered with a small smile

Kyle pulled back a little and tilted his head, looking at the jumper as if it was some foreign item, “M-Maybe…”
“Just saying, it’d be cozy.” He was doing his best to try and cheer Kyle up.
Kyle bit his lip, though the tiniest hint of a smile tugged at his lips, "Wh-What if we get stuck?"
“Well then we’re just screwed for the rest of eternity” he said jokingly. “But if we don’t it’s gonna be fun”
He looked up to Caleb, then down at the jumper and nodded, finally smiling, "Okay."
“Yaaaaaaay!” He smiled like a kid
Kyle giggled softly before he slipped under the jumper.
Caleb sighed contently, plopping his head on top of Kyle’s. “See? It’s cozy”
Kyle nodded a little, closing his eyes and snuggling into him a little more.
Caleb purred jokingly, a small smile appearing on her face.
Kyle blushed lightly, hiding his face a little.
“Oh nu where’d you go?”
He giggled, "Guess."
“Hmmmmm I don’t know. Are youuuu in the kitchen?” He joked, while trying to sound completely serious
He shook his head, "Nope, guess again."
“Are youuuuuu….on the couch?”
"Nuh uhhhhh.."
