Kyle smiled back, rubbing his thumb over his cheek before kissing away the tears on Caleb's face, "I love you too."

His smile widened a bit. “You sure you’re not some type of angel?”
Kyle blushed lightly and shook his head with a little giggle, "I'm sure."
He chuckled, resting his forehead against Kyle’s. “Either way, you’re adorable.”
The blush deepened, "I-I am not."
“Just like that right there. You’re adorable. I’ve said so since I met you.” He leaned in and kissed him softly.
Kyle was about to protest but ended up melting into the kiss instead.
Caleb smiled against Kyle’s lips, slowly pulling away after a few seconds. “And this is why I’m so deeply in love with you. Not just because you’re the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. But because of how kind and caring you are.”
Kyle went a very deep red, the blush creeping up to his ears and down his neck, "Y-You can't just say things like that…" he whined playfully.
He chuckled. “Why not?” He asked, snaking his arm around Kyle’s waist and pulling him closer. He couldn’t help himself when Kyle looked this cute.
"B-Because I d-don't like being flustered…" He mumbled, face going even more red if that was possible.
“Uh huh, that’s not what you say all the time dearest~”
Kyle hid his face in the crook of his neck, "Calebbbb."
“I’m just speaking the truth dearest” he said with a grin before groaning loudly. “If only I wasn’t supposed to be resting right now and all that shit….there’s so many things I want to do to you”
He whimpered softly, shifting in his lap slightly, "What kind of things?"
“Things that I definitely shouldn’t be doing when I’m supposed to be healing or whatever.” He smiled. “But then again…it is bed rest right?”
Kyle smiled a little, though one couldn't see, "I guess. b-but we shouldn't…"
“I know.” He grumbled, pouting.
He ran a hand through Caleb's hair, "Guess you're gonna have to wait."
“I guess so” he replied, leaning in to Kyle’s touches
"Because I don't wanna be the cause of you hurting yourself even more."
“Baby…just so we’re clear, you’re not the reason I got shot, I went and fucked shit up on my own because I was mad. So don’t blame yourself.
"But… I was still the reason why you were mad though…"
“And I get mad because I’m a dumb overdramatic bastard. It’s not your fault”
He shrugged a shoulder, "It kinda is…"
“It’s not your fault. And if you keep blaming yourself, I will tickle you.”
"You would never!"
“I would!”
Kyle shook his head, trying to move away so he wouldn't get tickled.
“Exactly. So if you blame yourself one more time I will tickle you without mercy.”
