He nodded. "I'm sure."
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
“Ok.” she sighed a little, pouring the coffee for them both.
He shot her a faint smile.
She gave him a soft smile in return as she handed him the cup, still worried about what might have happened to him before…
He took the cup, blowing on it before taking a sip.
She set her coffee down to let it cool off and started to cook. ”Scrambled eggs sound good?”
"Yeah, sure. Thank you."
”You’re welcome.” she smiled a little more.
He smiled back.
Her smile turned from still worried to much more genuine when he smiled like that.
He took a cautious sip of the coffee, trying not to burn his tongue.
She turned her attention back to cooking the eggs.
He took another sip of coffee.
”How’s the coffee?” she asked.
"'s good. Thanks."
”I'm glad you like it.” she said over the eggs sizzling in the pan.
He smiled over at her, nodding.
She glanced over her shoulder at him and smiled back. ”Would you mind grabbing a couple of plates?”
He nodded again, grabbing the plates from the cupboard.
”Thank you.” she smiled at him before making sure the eggs were done.
"Of course." He replied with a smile.
She smiled and quickly kissed his cheek as she took the plates from him.
He relinquished the plates easily, getting silverware out as well.
She set the plates down and dished out equal portions onto each.
He took his own plate when she was done, and carried it to the table.
She smiled at him and grabbed her own meal, joining him at the table.
He smiled back, sitting down.
She sat across from him and snagged the second fork he had out.
He smiled again, taking a sip of the coffee.
She smiled back and took a bite of her eggs.
