She glanced back over at him.
He looked at her for a moment.
She gave him a sweet smile.
He smiled back.
She took another bite of her food.
He smiled again.
She smiled back.
He finished up his food.
She looked at him as she finished.
He shot her a quick smile, getting up to take his plate to the dishwasher.
She smiled back at him and carried her dishes over as well.
He scraped off the remnants of the plate, and put it and the fork in the dishwasher.
She leaned over and put her own dishes in the machine.
He ran a hand through his hair.
She sighed a little and rubbed at her forehead.
He closed his eyes for a moment.
She bit her lip as the headache finally passed and glanced over at him.
He opened his eyes again, letting out a breath.
She closed her eyes briefly and let her hand fall back to her side.
He looked over at her.
She looked back at him and gave a small smile.
He smiled back.
She let out a soft giggle, for no reason other than she didn't know what to say or do yet.
He laughed a little at that. "Did you sleep well?"
“Yes.” she nodded. ”Your guestroom is actually very comfortable.”
"Oh, good." he replied with a smile.
She smiled back and nodded. ”Yeah, much better than your couch.” she teased.
He laughed. "Ah. sorry."
”It’s fine.” she laughed with him. ”I’ve fallen asleep at my desk before and regretted it in the morning.”
