He gave her a soft smile.
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
She smiled back, resting against him as he flipped through the channels.
He hummed a little bit, still clicking through.
She giggled softly and watched the tv with him, looking for anything that might catch her interest.
He eventually settled on the Office. "This alright?"
She nodded. “Yeah, this is fine.”
He set the remote down quietly, pressing a soft kiss to the side of her head.
Her eyes fluttered closed for a moment, letting out a happy little hum.
He held her gently, quiet as the show played.
She smiled contentedly, placing her hand on his.
He laced their fingers together, smiling.
She sighed softly and gave his hand a gentle squeeze, loving the way their hands fit together.
He gave her another smile.
She smiled back, blushing a little.
He kissed the top of her head.
Her smile grew, as did her blush, at the gesture before kissing his jaw in reply.
He hummed, pleased.
She echoed his hum and nuzzled against his neck.
He held her close.
She smiled, let him hold her as close as he wanted.
He leaned his cheek on her head lightly.
She hummed, nuzzling into him.
He smiled happily, holding her.
“You… You know how much I care about you, don't you?” she whispered, closing her eyes.
"Yeah." he replied in his own quiet whisper.
She nodded, curling into his side. “Good.” she whispered again.
He kissed the side of her head gently.
She sighed softly and kissed him back.
He gave her a faint, soft smile.
Jade smiled back, somehow managing to hold back words and a question she so badly wanted to say.
