He kissed her cheek softly.
She closed her eyes, smiling softly at that. It helped her push away those thoughts and just relax in his arms.
He kept holding her as The Office kept playing on the TV.
She smiled a little more and nuzzled into his side, holding on to him.
He hummed very faintly.
She sighed happily. She loved that sound.
He closed his eyes, still holding her.
She leaned up and lightly kissed his cheek.
He smiled, a soft breath leaving his lips.
She smiled and leaned back against him.
He held her, closing his eyes.
She sighed happily, relaxing even further in his arms.
He smiled a little, still holding her.
She hadn't stopped smiling the whole time she’d been in his home. It was so easy to feel comfortable here… A part of her started wondering what it would be like if she lived with him.

She chuckled again and hugged him.
He hugged her back.
“You know I could stay like this all night.” she smiled. “If you want me to…”
He hummed. "I'd love that, Jade."
Her heart skipped at hearing him say that one word to her… even if it was more to her suggestion than actually to her. But it was still nice. “Ok.” she nodded. “If you're really sure about it.”
He nodded. "I'm sure." he said softly.
“Ok.” she smiled, nuzzling against his side.
He smiled as well, staying close to her.
She was fairly sure she’d had this thought before but it still amazed her at how comfortable and relaxed she felt around Killian. Especially considering their different choices in careers. But as recent events showed her, she could trust him more than many of her fellow heroes.
