“Do… Do you have any plans for today?” she asked, clearing her throat slightly.

He opened his eyes again, then shook his head. "No, not really."
She hummed a little and nodded. “Just wondering.”
"What about you? Any plans?"
“No. Not really.” she shrugged. “But I don't always make a lot of plans anyway. I hate canceling them when something important comes up.” she teased, bumping into his side.
He laughed a little. "Ah, and I am more important than any potential plans?"
“Depends on what you get up to.” she laughed back, smirking at him.
He laughed again, shaking his head for a moment. "I see, I see."
She smiled up at him and leaned against his side as she took another sip.
He smiled back, kissing her temple.
She hummed softly, feeling her face heat up at the gesture.
He took another sip of his coffee.
She looked up at him and smiled softly.
He smiled back, eyes soft and still a little tired.
“Do you know what time it is? I should probably call Sophie. See how her date went.”
"It's, ah…" he looked over at his bedside clock. "About nine." he looked over at her again, giving her a soft smile.
She hummed thoughtfully and nodded. “I’ll wait a little longer. She might still be asleep.” she chuckled.
"Alright." he laughed quietly, kissing her cheek again.
She blushed again turned to kiss him back.
He smiled at her.
She smiled affectionately back.

She giggled again, holding back a quip, as she met his eyes.
He smiled softly.
She smiled back, cuddling against him like she did last night.
He kissed her cheek again, wrapping his arms around her.
She hummed happily and melted into his embrace. “Why does this feel so… so normal?” she whispered.
His brows knotted together a little bit. "Why shouldn't it?"
She blinked and looked back up at him. “Well… Let's face it, neither of us is exactly normal.” she reminded him, referring to their powers. “But right here, right now I can almost forget about all of that.” she admitted.
He nodded slowly. "Ah. Right." he replied, shrugging one shoulder.
