Killian shook his head. "Nah, I'm good." he replied with a smile.

group

”Ok.” Jade nodded and walked into the kitchen.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"So…shall we head out now?" Killian asked curiously.

group

”If you're ready.” Jade shrugged with a small nod.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "Alright. Let's go, then." he repleid.

group

”Ok.” she said holding out her hand, palm up.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian blinked. "What?" he asked slowly.

group

”The keys.” she said making a ’hand it over’ gesture. ”I gave them to you yesterday before I went out to the bank.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"OH, right." Killian held out the keys, placing them in her hand. "Here."

group

Jade smiled as she took back her keys. ”Thank you.” she almost chirped.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian smiled back. "Mhm. You're welcome." he replied.

group

”So…” Jade cleared her throat. ”You ready to go?” she asked, not wanting to make it seem like she was being rude or trying to kick him out.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "Yeah, if you are." he replied, putting on his shoes and jacket.

group

”Sure.” Jade shrugged before walking, almost normally, over to the door and sliding on a light jacket but hesitated for a moment before putting on a pair of boots.

(gtg to bed soon)

Killian was quiet, and followed her out the door. "Oh, is your leg doing alright?"

group

(Ok. Good night.)

”Hmm? Oh, yeah. It’s alright.” Jade assured as she locked the door. ”I just have to be careful not to jostle it too much.” she shrugged. ”It’s not a big deal. It’s actually pretty normal for me considering my job.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Alright." Killian replied. He ran a hand through his dark hair. "Just wanted to check."

group

”It’s alright. Thank you though.” Jade smiled at his concern, as strange as it was that he actually did care. But she would admit that she cared about him as well. ”Uhhh, stairs or elevator?” she asked as she saw the metal doors getting closer.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "Elevator." He replied. He said it because he knew it would be easier on her leg.

group

”Ok.” Jade said softly with a small nod, understanding that it was probably smarter than taking the stairs. She sighed a little as she hit the down button.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian was quiet for a moment. He took a deep breath.

group

Jade tried to stay calm as the elevator gave a soft chime before the metal doors slid open. But she hesitated a moment before she entered.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian glanced at her. "You gonna be okay in the elevator?" He asked softly.

group

Jade blushed a little at being found out. ”Yeah. I’ll be alright.” she nodded as she pushed the button for the main floor. ”It’s just… Well, I told you I’m a little claustrophobic. But I’ll be alright.” she affirmed, closing her eyes and leaning against the wall.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "You sure?" he replied, looking at her carefully. "I thought this would be better on your leg than walking, but…"

group

”I’m sure.” Jade said keeping her eyes closed. ”You’re right about my leg. I really should rest it and I promise I will when I get back.” she smiled nervously. ”I just need to try to relax until the doors open.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "Alright. Is there, uhm…anything I can do?"

group

Jade cracked an eye open to look at him for just a moment before closing it again and placing her hand on his arm. ”Is it ok if I do this?” she asked.

group

(Happy New Year!)

Killian nodded. "Yeah. And if there's anything I can do, just let me know." he replied with a faint smile.
