Killian smiled at her. "Mm. Alright." he replied. He nodded. "I can guess that you are."

group

”Yeah.” Jade sighed, closing her eyes to relax a bit more. ”I do a lot of research.” she murmured.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "Mhm." He sighed softly. "Do you need to go to sleep?"

group

”Nope. I’m alright, just really mellowed out. Besides if I go to sleep now; I’ll regret it later.” Jade chuckled, not looking forward to that outcome.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Alright." Killian replied, stretching. "Let me know if you need to sleep, and I'll leave." He said with a soft smile.

group

”You don't have to leave yet.” Jade told him, opening her eyes again. ”I probably won't fall asleep for a while.” she blushed a little at his smile.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. "Alright." He replied with a faint smile.

group

Jade smiled shyly back. With the alcohol working in her system, she was able to think more like a normal person, instead of a supercomputer and she was able to actually admire Killian’s attractive qualities.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian stretched yet again. "I might head home soon anyways, though." He replied.

group

”Are you getting tired? That's like the fifth time you've stretched.” Jade noted as a reply.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Yes, I am." Killian replied covering a yawn with his hand.

group

”Oh. Well, if you're too tired to drive, you can stay here. If you want.” Jade offered with a shrug. ”Or not. It's your choice.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian shrugged again. "We'll see." He replied softly, running a hand through his hair.

(Merry Christmas!)

(Merry Christmas!!!)

Jade chuckled a little at his little habit. ”Your hair looks really soft when you do that.” she blushed as soon as she realized that she said that out loud.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian blinked, and laughed. "Uhm…thank you?"

group

Jade just nodded, still red-faced and not trusting herself to speak to him just yet. She sat up and picked up the bottle. ”I’m gonna put this away and get myself some water.” she said softly. ”You want any?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Sure." Killian replied. He stretched again, leaning against the couch. His eyes drifted shut for a moment, then he opened them again, blinking tiredly.

group

Jade stood up gingerly and walked to the kitchen, putting the bottle away and grabbing two cups of water. She quickly drank hers and refilled it before limping back to the couch. Noticing Killian’s tired expression, she smiled and set the cups on the coffee table. ”You can rest while you're here.” she assured as she sat beside him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded. He took a sip of water, leaning back in the seat with a tired blink.

group

Jade smiled a little and shifted next to Killian, her mind still working slower than normal.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian rubbed his eyes tiredly, eyes flickering shut for a moment, then open again. "Damn. I'm more tired than I thought." He said with a laugh.

group

”You’re welcome to stay the night here.” Jade offered before taking a drink of her water, trying to stay awake herself.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian shrugged. "I'd hate to…" He yawned. "…take over your couch."

group

”It’s fine.” Jade shrugged. ”I took over yours once.” she reminded him, stretching her arms.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian laughed a little. "Yeah, but you were injured. I'm not."

group

Jade gave a half nod. ”Yeah, but I’d rather you stayed and didn't get injured trying to stay awake driving.” she pointed out.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded a little. "Mm. Fine." He replied with a shrug.

group

Jade smiled softly, leaning against Killian. ”I have a spare blanket and pillow in the closet.” she murmured trying to keep her own eyes open.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Killian nodded, but made no move to get up. "'kay." He mumbled sleepily.

group

Jade chuckled softly and nuzzled tiredly closer to Killian, not moving to get up either. She was surprised how comfortable she was leaning against him.
