Just like every Thursday afternoon, Raeden sat alone in the third chair to the left in the middle row of the abandoned science lab. He was working on yet another compound. He never told anyone what he was making or why, just that he had to be alone. He was humming a Panic! At The Disco song to himself: it was Northern Downpour.

Raeden practically leaped out of his seat. "Wh… Who are you and what are you doing here?" he said. His voice was like that of Hunter Hollingsworth from Degrassi: deep but almost childish. He seemed very defensive: almost as if he was afraid of something.

"I'm fine by myself," Raeden replied quickly. "But I've never really had a friend. What's your name?"

"You didn't answer my question," Raeden replied, still nervous. "And yes, I'm Raeden."

Raeden started to retreat to his corner. "Go ahead, do your lab. Just don't bug me."

"Then I will personally spill this compound of liquid iodine and hydrogen down your shirt, permanently staining your skin," he said decisively, shaking the vile. "I don't think you want your skin stained or possibly burned off, am I correct?"

"Yeah, like that hasn't happened before." he joked. "But seriously. Don't ask me questions. Just… no."

"Jaques. No more talking." Raeden began to ignore her completely.

Raeden ignored her. After a day like his, he wasn't up to interaction. He just continued mixing iodine and hydrogen and adding chlorine.

Raeden continued to ignore her. Why does she care? he asked himself.

"GO AWAY!" He screamed. "You're overly annoying, now shut it!"

"I don't even know. I've never met you. Why the hell are you so interested in me?" He asked, getting increasingly more hostile.

"Your… voices?" Raeden inquired. "Nonononono I'm sorry if that's a personal question if you're not comfortable answering it that's fine and I don't know why I'm rambling I'm sorry." he spat out in one breath.
