(I can see where you're coming from, and I can see where my mom is coming from too… As the teenager caught in the middle I have to lean towards your side, though I also respect that my mom is trying to protect me. It's a working progress, and eventually she won't have any say on what I do, online or otherwise, so…. shrugs)

(I’m 20 and my mom still tries to control me in some stuff, so it just sends off a lot of sirens. She may have good intentions, and while I acknowledge most moms do, sometimes they don’t go about it the best way ig.)

As they continued on the road, Felix played distractedly with a length of thread, having finished his clothing repairs. He cast the occasional glance back to Eclipse.
Eclipse was still mostly asleep, curling in on himself tightly.
group
“Poor guy…” Felix sighed, “It must’ve been a really rough night.”
He laid back a bit, gazing up at the sky.
Eclipse came to about half an hour later, stretching himself out with a low, sleepy growl.
group
"Good morning, sleepyhead," Felix cooed as soon as he looked back over to see Eclipse awake.
It was well into the afternoon by now, but Felix hadn't changed his position much, even though it had been hours. He stretched out his shoulders.
Eclipse blinked up at him sleepily, confused by his tone.
group
"Mm, how are you feeling?" Felix murmured.
He laid lazily in the rays of the afternoon sun, draped over the edges of the cart like a cat.
Eclipse shifted vack, still watching him curiously. "Better… then this morning…"
group
"Good to hear," Felix replied, "O-oh yeah. Did your clothes sustain any tears or anything from the fight or the rough travels? I've been working on repairs, if you want me to fix anything."
"Not really…. at least.. nothing that needs to be adressed.." he said softly.
group
"Are you… are you sure?" Felix asked, a little confused by the way he worded his response, "Well, if there ever is anything, I'm more than happy to repair it. Sewing is an easy task for me. It doesn't really take much effort or frustration- in fact, I quite enjoy it."
"I'm sure" he responded, not bothering to clear up the other's obvious confusion.
group
“Okay. Well…”
Felix sighed softly.
“Gods we have a long way to go.”
Eclipse nodded, not saying anything in response.

Felix sighed with a slight sound of frustration lacing his voice. He sank back down where he was laying.
It's damned lonely out here, even with him. Sometimes it feels like I'm talking to a wall. I understand why, but… It wasn't supposed to happen this way.
Eclipse heard the frustration in his voice, and felt himself shrivel up inside just a little. He knew he wasn't the most talkative person, but he was trying… sort of..

Felix played with his hair a bit. He felt gross. He wanted to bathe, wash his clothes properly. Basically anything but be out here. If Eclipse wasn't with him, he would have gone into a nearby town to take care of things, but here he was, on this path. It was ultimately his choice, but there were still things he missed out on.
Elipse pulled his knees to his chest, trying to figure out how to make the other feel better.
group
“Gods, I’ve been so beat up on the past couple of days. I just want a hot bath to clean up and soothe my wounds,” Felix mused.
Eclipse hummed in agreement, "That'd be nice.." he said quietly.
group
“I’m glad you don’t think it just seems petty,” Felix laughed.
"Why would it be petty?" asked Eclipse softly.
group
“We just have bigger things to worry about, is all,” Felix replied.
He smiled slightly.
“But that’s okay. I guess it doesn’t mean we can’t dream.”
