Adagio just settled into the couch, ignoring the fact that her phone was buzzing. It was her dad, so she didn't want to deal with it. She sighs and shuts her eyes tiredly. Maia whines softly, sensing her distress.

"What'd she do this time?" She asked, biting back a laugh.

"Said she wanted to be picked up from school since that was apparently 'cool,' " Sam replied, air quoting the word cool.

"Ah, she's feeling the famous big brother urges," Luka said with a grin.

Sam chuckled and shrugged. "I guess so, but why does she even want to be popular?"

"Yeah, the popular kids are shit."

"Probably just a phase. I think we all went through it one time or another." He glanced at the others.

"I haven't, I've never wanted to be popular and never will." Sam replied proudly.

"Me neither, they all treated me like shit." She said, doing jazz hands.

He stuck his tongue out at the two of them. "Not helping."

Adagio watched quietly before looking away and petting Maia quietly. She just wasn't feeling that free spirited after the phone call with her father. When I was a young boy… My father… Ruined any chance if having a normal childhood. She thinks sullenly.

"You okay, Adagio?" Sam asked, glancing at her.

Adagio looks up and shrugs. "Fine. Just tired." She replies, leaning back in her chair.

"You sure?" Sam asked, walking over to her and plopping down next to her.

She nods and smiles a little. "I'm okay." She chuckles. "Thank you for your concern though." She snuggles into the couch.

Sam sighed in defeat in nodded. "Fine, but remember that you can talk to us about anything."

She nods and smiles. "I've always known that." She pokes Sam's forehead before relaxing and petting Maia absently. She hums a soft tune under her breath and shuts her eyes as she thought of different beats and ideas.

Sam chuckled. "I know, I was just reminding you." He also poked her forehead before getting up and heading over to Luka and Joan. "Sooooo."

"Soooooooooooo?" he mimicked, tilting his head.

"What do we do now?" Sam asked, a small smile on his face.

"We wait until one of us gets inspired enough to write a song," he said with a snort.

"That's gonna take a long time then," Sam replied with a slight laugh.

"I might… have an idea…" She mutters quietly, tapping a beat to herself.

Sam turned around and glanced at Adagio. "Spill."

"The beans," he added on.

Adagio blinks before rubbing the back of her head. "It's not that good though…" She mumbles softly, looking rather shy.

"Come on, can't be any worst than the super soaker incident." Joan said, smiling gently.

"Well… I uh-" She fumbled with her fingers before she smiled nervously. "I…"

"Yeeeees?" he leaned forward, a small, comforting smile on his face.
