(Like Mein schöner Schlagzeuger, or 'My beautiful drummer')
"The Resistance? Sounds like a bad-ass name." (4/4)(Closed!)
(OOOOO, and one day she decides to look up something he says and finds out he's been complimenting her the whole time)
Adagio sighs softly and takes a deep breath. She didn't have a doctors appointment, but she needed to get out of there for a little while. She felt pained for some reason. Adagio walks down the street, trying to calm down.
(OOOOO, and one day she decides to look up something he says and finds out he's been complimenting her the whole time)
((YES THAT IS THE GOOD SHIT))
(👌)
Joan blinked awake, groaning. "Why am I awake? Is the other moron here? Who summoned me?" She asked, voice a bit raspy.
"Good morning, Mein schöner Schlagzeuger," he said with a smile.
"I just woke up, and you're already insulting me? Rude." She said jokingly, sitting up.
His smile turned into an amused grin. "Yes, I'm so rude."
"Ah, shit, what was that in German again?" She snapped her fingers, trying to remember. "Oh! Arschloch!"
"I prefer der Schleimscheißer," he said with a small chuckle. "The booty licker is much more amusing."
"Wha-" She dissolved into a fit of giggles.
"Ah yes," he said, "The wonders of the German vocabulary."
"Who even invented German? Who thought that made sense?"
"People way smarter than you," he said. "Ihre Augen sind schön."
(Translation: Your eyes are beautiful)
"Yes, I know, I'm a dumbass." She said, rolling her eyes.
He chuckled. "Is that what you think I said? You really aren't progressing with your German, are you?"
(I'm going to bed, but I'll be back on tomorrow!)
(Actually, I got, like, 10 minutes)
"I'm fucking trying!" She defended.
All he did was laugh. Then, ding, there was another notification on his phone.
"Who is it?" She asked, sitting up a bit more to try to see.
"Got a video shared to me." He chuckled as he read the title."'Joan and Bambi's Arguments.'"
"Oh boy, what dirt did they dig up?" She asked, laughing.
He watched it for a moment, then smiled. "Here," he said, handing her his phone. It was a compilation of all of their onstage arguments, but with translations at the bottom whenever someone spoke in German. They always spoke into the microphones during these, because the crowd loved it. One scene, it was between songs and they sat on stools next to each other, trading insults in German. "Sie Arschloch," Joan had spat at him, and Luka responded with, "Danke, mein wunderschönes Schlagzeugerin." The subtitles read, "Thank you, my beautiful drummer," colored in a light blue to signify it was Luka. The next one was a similar scenario while their work screw set up the instruments and electronics.
""Du hast das Gesicht eines Hundes," Joan had said, pushing him playfully as she spoke.
"Du hast das Gesicht eines Engels," he responded. The subtitles read, "You have the face of an angel."
The video went on for 15 minutes, but there was one phrase that he repeated: "Mein Schöner Schlagzeuger," or, "My beautiful drummer."
Luka waited a few moments after the video ended before taking his phone back. "Told you you needed to get better," he said softly, pocketing his device.
She sat silently, having absolutely no clue how to respond. "Wait-"
Adagio was quiet but then her phone rung. "Hello?" She answers quietly. "Adagio." She winced when her father's voice comes through the speaker. "You're late." She seemed to shrink into her coat. "I know… I'm sorry…" The phone was quiet. "Extra payment tomorrow. Don't be late." with that, the call ended. Her body began to shake before she takes a deep breath. She walks towards Joan's house. She needed her friends. It would be okay with her friends. But then she hesitated. She knee the two liked each other. She shouldn't intrude. She couldn't go home. The library… She could go there. Yeah. That would be okay.
((I feel like her dad is someone I'm gonna want to McSlap))
He tilted his head. "What?"
