Nishida, despite being sick - and denying that she's sick - gently picks up Aphrodite and lays her down in her bed.
"Wait here. Don't move a muscle. I'll bring you food." she says softly.

Aphrodite slowly closes her eyes, going limp.
Zi walks in, meowing loudly and jumping up onto the bed.
Nishida smiles at Zi.
"Keep her company. I'll be fine. She needs some love." she tells the cat softly before nearly falling out of the room.
She ctaches herself and looks back at Aphrodite, flashing her a warm but strained smile before shuffling her way to the kitchen, preparing a small but decent meal for the sick woman.

Aphrodite stays out, breathing softly and almost looking like she wasn’t breathing at all.
Zi nuzzles into his owner, his tail flicking slightly.
Nishida returns holding a plate with a sandwhich made from some of the good leftovers from the meal she'd made days ago.
"I think it'll taste decent." she says, almost self-deprecating.

Aphrodite makes a face, showing she was in pain. Zi looks at her and bumps his head into her side, meowing.
Nishida looks sadly at Aphrodite's look of pain, walking over to the other side of the bed, where the cahir she'd sat in days ago still was, and sits down in it after dragging it closer to the bed.
"Can you at least chew?" she asks.

She remained unresponsive, still unconscious. She whimpers slightly as more pain overwhelms her.
Nishida finally understands and gently shakes the smaller woman.
"C'mon, wake up. . ." she says.

She stays unconscious, whining again.
Zi meows loudly, trying to help wake Aphrodite and failing.
Nishida takes a breath. She's going to scream at me for this, or start crying, or both. . .
But she takes her hand and brings it down firmly on Aphrodite's cheek.

She yelps, flinching and slowly opening her eyes. She slowly looks towards Nishida, honestly looking close to death. She slowly closes her eyes again, whimpering.
"I'm sorry, Apjrodite. . ." Nishida says quietly. "But you looked close to dead. You need to eat. And then we need to get you out into the sun."

She whines weakly, slowly becoming unable to even move much.

(Yeah, I do.)
Nishida sighs quietly.
"You're an idiot. . ." she says quietly, tearing the sandwhich into tiny bits.
She places the first bit into Aphrodite's mouth and waits for a moment before shaking her head and moving the woman's jaw for her.

Aphrodite weakly and slowly chews the food, barely able to swallow.
Zi curls up next to Aphrodite, looking extremely worried. He almost had a human look of concern in his eyes.
Aphrodite places the next bit of food into Aphrodite's mouth, repeating the process she'd started.

Eventually, Aphrodite finishes the food. Though she still looked close to deaths door, she did seem to look a bit better than before. At least the growling in her stomach quieted down.
Nishida rushes off to get water and some more food than returns, helping the girl to drink the water before repeating the process she'd done with the first sandwhich.

She slowly started getting better. She gained a bit more motor control and strength and slowly started holding the cup of water by herself. She finishes the food much more quickly then before, gulping down the water.
Nishida smiles.
"You look a lot better now." she says softly.
"I'll go get more food." she says.
She goes and makes another sandwhich, grabbing a larger cup of water this time as well, and returns.

Aphrodite slowly sits up, hissing softly and almost falling. She props herself up on a pillow. “What…about you?”
Nishida shrugs. That's the only answer she gives in response as she helps Aphrodite sit up.

Aphrodite gently takes Nishida’s hand. “Please.”
"I'll be fine, Aphrodite." Nishida says, though the look she had when she spoke said pretty much the opposite. "Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself."

She shakes her head. “Please.” She now was begging, a pleading look in her eyes.
Nishida sighs.
"Fine." she says quietly.
She makes it to the door before her face goes a sickly shade of white and she crumples.
She tries to pull herself back up and succeeds, but only barely.
"Well shit." she murmurs, looking at her hands. She counted for, then three, then eight, then five, as her vision went wonky. She smiles, but quickly stops.
"This is. . . interesting. . ." she says, as she falls to the floor again, unconscious.

Aphrodite yelps, quickly getting up. Yes she stumbled, and still was too weak to do much, but she still helped Nishida. Aphrodite carefully brings her to her bed, hooking her up to an IV with nutrients and hydration. She sits down next to her bed, starting to get dizzy from her sudden movements. Soon, Aphrodite falls asleep, laying her head down right by Nishida’s hand.
Zi scampers in, hopping up onto the bed and snuggling in between both of the girls.
Nishida is unconscious for a few days, in which time her condition slowly but surely improved.
It was, in all honesty, probably some sickness that hadn't existed when she was outside the cave in her own time.
