The Watergirl and her Fireboy (One on one) [OPEN - reboot, I guess?]

She purred in the back of her throat and didn't answer.

"great now she's turned cat." he sighed "water kitty is your new name now," he whispered into her ear

"Mrrow," she said into his ear with a giggle.

he let out a growl and smiled "sadly, I'm not a cat person, but I'm willing to make an exception for you."

She blushed softly.

"Alright, imma stop being me and let you sleep, at this rate I don't even think I can do mental math with how tired I am right now." he rested his head back and held her protectively

"Sleep, my fire boy," she whispered. In seconds, she was breathing heavily – a sign of her sleeping.

He nodded and fell asleep peacefully, dreaming of their future lives together.

Marina blinked awake to sunlight streaming across her lover's face. She kissed him gently. "Cas, wake up…"

he arched his back and groaned "it's early as hell, so imma sleeps like hell."

"And you're hot as hell," she replied, kissing him again.

he chuckled "guilty as charged." he opened his eyes, fire igniting in them briefly "you better have a good reason for waking me at…" he looked at his watch "5:00 in the morning?! nope, going back to sleep." he rested his head back on the ground and closed his eyes

"Hey!" she cried. "I'm up, so you have to keep me company!"

"said every morning person to a late sleeper ever." he pulled his hands behind his head and looked at her "feeling better I see?"

She nodded, her chin tapping his chest. "Mhmm."

he sighed deeply and smiled "good, no injuries or anything?"

"I don't think so," she murmured.

"yea no that's not going to cut it." He pressed a warm hand along her back "let me know if you feel pain anywhere." he said

"I don't." Her head was still a little fuzzy, but she dismissed the feeling.

Convinced that she wasn't injured, he smiled "you did well out there Mar, extremly well." he said proudly

"You too," she cooed, tracing his face with her finger.

He leaned into her touch, kissing her fingers Everytime they came close to his lips "I didn't do nearly as much as you. Just took out some fires"

"You saved someone's life as far as I saw," she replied softly.

"we don't know if she'll survive the inhalation of smoke though." He looked off into the distance

"I think she will," Marina insisted.

"I certainly hope so." He kissed her wrist "always looking on the bright side."

"Yes, it's nice. Maybe you should try it sometime," she teased.

"ha and wheres the fun in that?" He smiled arching his back again
