He reached and sent out a blast of fire to slow the descent as they neared the ground "I am never. I repeat. never doing that again,"

She sighed when they landed. "I promise you won't have to."

He nodded "damn, we lost him." he muttered. Glancing down at her in his arms "are you alright?"

"Yes," she breathed.

He nodded and hugged her tight for releasing her "god do you know the scare you gave me," he said with a smile

She smiled weakly. "I'm sorry."

He shook his head "don't be, I love saving your life." He smiled at her "always getting yourself into trouble, aren't you my water girl?" He said lovingly

"I'm afraid so," she giggled.

He sighed and glanced around "we're not going to find him now, at least he's stopped the Earthquake." Fuego notted

"True," she said quietly. "Is everyone safe?"

he nodded "for now, yes." he changed back to normal and sighed "lets get out of here."

She did too. "Alright. Where should we go?"

He shrugged "any where that's not completely destroyed by the earthquake," he glanced around "so barely anywhere, yay.”

A squad of search and rescue men came around the corner.
She looked up at him, terrified. "What do we say?"

He looked around "Act dead and hope they don't call an ambulance?" he suggested with a grin "or just run,"

It was too late to run.
"What are you two doing here, it's dangerous!" one of the men called.

"Walking away from the danger..uh sir.." He smiled and started to walk backward

"Everyone was evacuated already," another one pointed out.
Marina bit her lip. "Well, uh, we…"

`we didn't get the hint, we'll be going now unless you want to keep a couple kids in danger?" Cas said smoothly still backing away

"Don't go that way," a kind looking man said. He smiled and pointed the way they came. "That way had already been cleared."
Marina looked up at Cas.

"You're welcome…" Cas muttered under his breath and nodded "thank you, sir. We'll just be on our way. Stay safe."

Marina followed his lead. Once they were far enough away, she exhaled a sigh of relief.

He smiled "god these people have no appreciation for what we do." looped his arm around her shoulder and kissed her temple

"It's kinda hard to take credit when we aren't supposed to tell them. They're just trying to make sure everyone is alright," she said, grinning when she felt his lips on the side of her head.

"yeah I know, but still…" He stopped as a thought came to him "wonder if mom got out of it ok…."

She worriedly stroked his arm. "We should go check."

He leaned his head on hers and nodded, heading towards the road to his house. A few moments later they reached thee white little cottage on the outskirts of the city. Cas breathed a sigh of relief when he saw it wasn't too badly damaged "Mama?" He called when he opened the house
"In the kitchen Castiel." His mother replied in a thick Spanish accent. He smiled and pulled Marina into the house

Marina followed with a smile. "Hola, Señora Raymonf," she greeted kindly. "¿Estás bien?"

She smiled when she saw Marina "Hola marina! Pasa pasa, porfavor, llama me Lena.Si todo bien, tu estas bien?*" Cas smiled at the two as they talked and kissed his mother on the cheek

"Sí, los dos estamos bien," she replied smoothly. Marina could speak most popular languages, which typically paid off.
