Adrien rolled his eyes with a derisive snort, but there was undisguised worry in his gaze as he took in the crumpled bandages crisscrossing over Alex's chest. Blood was starting to soak through the corners of his cuts. His own chest was starting to ache and he didn't know if it was his heart acting up or just sympathy. He didn't know which he would prefer.
