"Me neither… I'm super excited, but also nervous. You?" She pulled away to grab her back, nerves buzzing in her stomach.

“I’m glad you’re doing it with me. Just worried I’ll forget stuff.”
"If your forget stuff, call me. We could.. forge some sort of doctor's note saying you have amnesia. Here– I could write my number on your arm in case you forget that too?"
“No need for the note and your numbers in my phone. I’ll be fine, but text me if you need anything.”
"Alright, same goes for you." Macha pecked his cheek. "Let's go."
Tyler walked out with her and drove them to the university, very anxious.
"Hey, don't worry, everything will be fine," Macha reassured him gently.
“Yeah, Yeah..I hope so.”
"I know so." They pulled into the university parking lot. "It'll be great, and we can meet for lunch."
“Of course.” He smiled, leaning over and kissing her before getting out of the car and walking towards the main building.

Macha pulled out her phone and dialled Tyler's number. "Hey, Tyler!"
Tyler smiled as he heard her voice. “Hey how are you?”
"I'm good, how were your classes?" She manoeuvred out of the way of another student, headed for the courtyard.
"They were pretty good, but I had forgotten how boring school was." He laughed a little, heading out to the courtyard to wait for her.
Macha laughed, catching sight of him. "I'm across the courtyard from you, see you in a minute." She hung up and jogged across it to meet him. "Hey."
"Hey!" He responded, hugging her tight and grinning.
Macha squeezed him back, ignoring the fact that all eyes in the courtyard had turned to the stone girl hugging the cute guy. "How are you?"
"I'm pretty good. How are you?" He asked, pulling back and giving her a quick peck.
"I'm great– the professor was so good– and the lessons were so interesting– and they were challenging but not ridiculously hard– and people only stared at me sometimes– I already love it here."
Tyler chuckled a bit at her excitement. “Hopefully you don’t meet anyone better then me.”
Macha pulled back, perplexed. "Obviously not, what makes you think that? And besides, it's you that half the girls have been ogling at, not me."
“Do you have a pen?” He asked, grinning at her.
Macha tilted her head, but rummaged around in her pockets before producing one and handing it to him. "Yeah, why?"
“Because..” He began drawing her face on his hand. “I want to remember what you look like, your face, your hair, your eyes..”

Macha's heart melted a little. She leaned in for an affectionate kiss on his cheek. "Aw."
(Ahhhh I forgot what he said he was good at at school so I’m gonna say he’s takinggg oceanography and studying to be a geologist)
“There.” Tyler smiled, handing her the pen back. “Now I can remember you.” He laced his fingers into hers and swung them back and forth playfully. “Should we get some lunch?”

Macha couldn’t stop grinning. “I love you,” she told him, laughing a little. “And sure.”
