"I'm actually kind of relieved my birthday is almost here," she confessed, looking into Cat's eyes. "Finally, all this shit will be over, one way or the other." She glanced away after the admission, though.
True loves kiss (Lesbian romance O/O)
Cat's smile fully dropped. "Don't say that," She whispered. Her eyebrows knitting together. "You just need to meet more people. Your true love isn't necessarily in this castle."
"I don't know…" Aurelie muttered, unsure why Cat seemed to be pushing her away. It wasn't like she had expected Cat to just assume that it was her or anything, but Aurelie kind of wished she had. "At least by then I won't have to worry about it anymore. Besides, it's pretty hard to find potential girls when my father is so sure it's a boy I need."
Cat pulled away her hand. "Do you have a day without classes? Or with on morning classes?" She asked. She couldn't bring herself to just leave her after. She needs to at least try to help her find an actual true love.
"On Saturdays I'm usually free," Aurelie said slowly. "Why?" She hoped that Cat was planning some sort of date for them. Her sudden change in mood puzzled Aurelie.
"Do you want to go into town with me?" she asked. "you already said you want to run away. maybe all you need is to sneak away for a little bit."
"Okay, sure," she agreed after a moment of thought. "That could be fun." Was it a date? Or was Cat trying to throw her at someone else? Or was it just going to be the two of them having fun without any sort of label? Aurelie had no clue.
"Great," She said smiling. "I have to get going but I'll see you in the morning amore." She sat up before leaning down and giving Aurelie a quick kiss.
Aurelie once again melted at Cat's kiss. "Okay, see you," she replied with a faint smile. Maybe Saturday would be fun after all.
the next morning Cat was back near the garden with her brother. Instead of whispers they where yelling at each other in Italian. Hopefully no one could understand them but even if they could they weren't yelling about there plan. instead about stupid random things.
Aurelie stepped outside to get some fresh air when she heard the yelling. She didn't know Italian, so she peeked out from behind a corner for a moment and then walked over when she saw who it was. "Grace! Hi!"
"Oh great your little princess is here," Alex hissed in Italian. Cat turned and looked at Aurelie. Her eyes softening slightly but her glare was still there. Her jaw was clenched and entire body tensed.
"Hey," she said her Italian accent now obvious along with her anger.
"Um, what's wrong?" Aurelie asked, confused. Cat was clearly angry. Maybe they were just arguing like siblings did? Or something?
"Nothing A- He's leaving anyway," Cat said stepping closer to Aurelie but was held back by Alex grabbing her upper arm.
"No I'm not. We still have things to discuss," he said now completely calm. He had a small smile.
"Oh, um, cool? Do you two want me to leave?" she asked, furrowing her brows in confusion. They were clearly having some sort of argument.
"Of course we do you idiot," Alex said in Italian again. Cat turned around and glared at him before turning back to Aurelie.
"We'll be right back. I'll meet you in the on the bench," She explained.
“Um, okay, have fun you two,” she said, raising her eyebrows and walking off to where Cat had said.
Cat walked away with Alex. Going back to yelling at each other. She walked back to Aurelie after a few minute. Sitting down at the bench.
“Are you guys fighting or something?” she asked, hoping that they had fixed things between them.
”Yeah but it's mainly just him being a jerk,” she admits with a small smile.
“Oh?” She laughed. “That sounds like fun,” she joked.
"Yeah so much fun," Cat said rolling her eyes. "Let's not talk about that though. How was your day?"
“Pretty okay, what about yours?” she replied with a smile.
"Other than like two minutes ago actually pretty uneventful," She admitted. "We still on to go into town tomorrow?"
“Yeah, for sure!” Aurelie responded happily, then kissed Cat’s cheek. She was excited for the next day.
Cat nodded and pecked Aurelie on the lips. "Good, I cant wait," She says smiling. "I think there's a festival going on so really its perfect!"
“Oh yeah, I forgot about that!” Aurelie exclaimed, her eyes sparkling. “It’ll be so much fun!”
"It really will be!" Cat said smiling wide. she looked down at Aurelie's dress. "Do you have any common clothes though? They can be slightly fancy since some dress up for the festival but it's more likely you'll get robbed."
“I have a few less fancy dresses just in case something like this happened,” she admitted, grinning. “I’ve snuck out to the village occasionally when I got bored of the castle.”
"Perfect," she said looking Aurelie in the eyes. "I can meet you here tomorrow morning."
