“It’s not a big deal,” she waved it off. “I’ll really only be missing grammar, and I think that my grammar is fine.”
"If you say so," Cat said smiling wide. one of her hand on Aurelie's knee. "Do you want to continue what we had to end this morning?"
Aurelie's grin widened. "Only if you want to, darling." She definitely wanted to, and it was probably pretty clear.
"course I do," Cat said. Her hand under Aurelie's chin lifting her head slightly.
Aurelie blushed, leaning in and kissing Cat slowly at first but getting gradually more intense. She moved her hands from Cat's waist to her hair.
Cat’s hand slipped from Aurelie’s hair to behind her neck. Softly pulling her closer.
Aurelie moved from sitting next to Cat to sitting on her lap, wanting more. She kept kissing the other girl.
Cat’s other hand moved to Aurelie’s waist. She deepened the kiss lightly bitting the princess’s bottom lip.
Aurelie blushed a little when Cat did that but didn’t pull away, instead continuing to kiss Cat and gently adding a bit of tongue.
Cat could feel Aurelie’s neck heat up front he blush. She continued to kiss her. Letting her hands slowly slide down Aurelie’s body.
Aurelie’s skin tingled wherever Cat touched her, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She ran her hands through Cat’s hair.
Cat hummed into the kiss at the feeling of Aurelie’s hands in her hair. Her hand stopped moving when they reached her hips. Her thump did make circular motions though.
Aurelie felt her body react to Cat’s, and gently sucked on Cat’s lips for a moment. She tasted sweet and Aurelie felt desire rush through her. She cupped Cat’s face in her palms.
Cat continued the kiss. Both of her hands in Aurelie’s hip. They gripped the fabric of her dresses skirt.
Aurelie pressed up against, needing to be closer. She knew they should probably stop soon, lest someone chance upon them, but oh gods above kissing this girl felt amazing.
”oh, ” A voice said behind Aurelie said. Cat broke the kiss and saw a boy only a few feet away from him. His eyes were wide.
Aurelie blushed and looked away. This was just great. She glanced at Cat for a moment, nervousness and maybe a bit of fear shining in her eyes. Her father couldn’t get wind of this. He would only try harder to force boys on her, certain that her “true love’s kiss” was male.
Cat swore under her breath. She looked over the boy. Servant…probably…hopefully. ”What are you doing here?” Cat asked carefully moving Aurelie off her lap.
”I could ask you the same thing, ” the boy said standing up straight. ”Your highness are you ok?” He looked at the princess.
Aurelie didn’t know what to do, only that she couldn’t throw Cat under the bus. Her face was the color of a tomato as she moved as far from Cat as possible on the bench, though she knew that the damage was already done.
“I’m fine, thank you,” she replied with the gracious smile that she gave during balls and when talking to people outside of the palace. She sat up straight, keeping her posture and (and hopefully) her dignity intact.
The boy paused looking between the girls. “Ok good. Sorry for umm disturbing you…I’ll go now,” He said starting to back up.
Aurelie stood. “Wait,” she commanded, sounding like a true princess. Her mind was racing. Maybe she could bribe him to forget what he saw? Or become close friends so he wouldn’t tattle to her father?
The boy paused and Cat looked at over at her. Her hand hand tapping against her leg as she thought.
Aurelie smiled softly, reassuringly. “What’s your name?” she asked the boy. “I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced.”
"James your highness," The boy said turning back to face the pair. Cat stayed quiet. She didnt want to say anything yet.
“James,” she repeated, still smiling. “You seem like a great guy.” She blinked innocently, her hazel eyes wide and trusting, as she got herself to blush a bit. “I’m so sorry you had to see that. Please don’t tell anyone.” She looked at James pleadingly. Aurelie wasn’t the first royal have romantic flings with someone of the same gender, but most were written off as young rebellion or hormones, and she hoped James would think the same, believing it to be a one time occurance.
Cat stood silently to the side. She looked down with fake shame. If this goes south she already had a plan. James looked like he was trying to hold back a laugh. "Of course I won't Ma'am. I-I've got to go.." He tried to back up again. Obviously about to go and tell everyone. Ruining Cat's plan. At least in her mind. She turned to Aurelie.
"I'll be right back," she said walking forward.
Aurelie raised her eyebrows, wanting to punch James in his sick little face. She hoped Cat wouldn’t do anything stupid, but she also hoped James wouldn’t go out and tell everyone (like he so clearly was going to).
Cat smiled kindly as she walked closer to James. She moved him away from Aurelie. "Come with me dude. lets talk," She said. He blinked and looked at Cat confused but followed.
Aurelie watched them nervously, saying a little prayer in her mind. Please don’t let either of them get hurt and especially don’t let Cat do something stupid.
