So we should think of a plot shouldn't we. Also heads up I gtg in half an hour but I'll be back tomorrow.

Okay, gotcha. So… for plot maybe we could have a common enemy to defeat so we join forces and end up falling for each other?

I'd say slightly futuristic due to Jays equipment and maybe the enemy could be like a dark evil manipulative guy…?

Yeah, I like the sound of that. So, I think Luke will have to be undercover as a Vampire. His appearance is human tho, so he's good.
And the dark evil manipulative guy could be a man who owns a big company? Maybe he's trying to take/steal/destroy Jay's equipment or research to kill Vampires? And advance his company.

How bout he's trying to get equipment to research the vampire race and he forces Jay to work for him? Maybe?

Jay sat in his living room, half watching the news, half tinkering with random stuff on his coffee table. He looked up to see the popular businessman who he despised, Mr. Ryan Goldburns. His eyes narrowed as he listened to what the well groomed, large man had to say, "Vampires are out there. I know they are and I won't stop until I gather all information possible on them. I need a good mechanic, a mechanical genius. If I don't get one in three hours, I'll find one, the hard way." Jay rolled his eyes, what a bitch. He'd better not look for him, he's met him before and it wasn't exactly fun.

Luke sat on a stool. It was almost night. He'd barely managed to survive in the coffee shop. The television flickered in the corner. "Vampires are out there." Luke furrowed his eyebrows. "Man, what a wacko." said the man two stools away. "Yeah, I know right?" Luke responded sarcastically.

(OMG since it's nighttime, Jay is gonna get fucking abducted in the middle of the night cus he said three hours, this'll be fun.)

Jay started putting up all of his supplies, ignoring the TV, with the man still ranting. He was talking about people he would go for if he didn't get one. Jay paid no attention and just shook his head with annoyance. Until, that is, when he heard his name, "First person I'll come for is Jay Silverlight…" Jay turned to look at the screen, his name was on the screen and so was a picture of him, "I know where you are Jay…" Jay bit his tongue, slightly nervous now, but shook it off and headed to take a shower then go to bed.

Luke heard the name 'Jay Silverlight' and turned. "Isn't he a famous scientist or something?" He asked the man on his left, who had disappeared suspiciously.

Jay couldn’t fall asleep. He was too nervous, unsure whether or not Goldburns was actually going to come for him. He watched the clock tick by he had been in bed for two hours. Goldburns would come soon if he was doing what he said…

Luke was confused. He didn't sense the man stand, or the door close or open. He realized what was going on too late. "Gotcha." A man's voice said. Luke's eyes widened as someone ran a stake through his stomach. It was wood. Luke cried out and whipped around. "That's the best you got?" He taunted and raised a fist. The man drove another stake through his wrist. "Mr. Goldburns only hires the best of the best. So no, this isn't all I've got."
Luke winced, and kicked at the man, only to find that his leg didn't connect with him. Another stake was rammed through his shoulder. "They're laced with vervain, so don't even try." Luke struggled to keep himself awake, but he finally succumbed to the pain and wiped out. He only heard the man say "One down, one to go. Here I come, Jay…"

Jay woke up from a light sleep after hearing pounding on his door. His heart stopped as he got up slowly. He didn't have time to even open the door of his bedroom before he was shoved across the room by one of Mr. Goldburns goons. He gasped in pain but couldn't do much else as he was quickly knocked out by a kick to the stomach and head. He moaned as he was harshly tied up and thrown into the back of a van. Through his unconsciousness he heard the men in the front saying, "Now we have him and that vampire…" Vampire?

The back of the van was dark, but Luke preferred the dark, and could see quite well in it. He watched the men toss the man he could only assume to be Jay in. He waited a moment before speaking. "They got you too?"

Jay groaned and looked to the other in the van. He nodded, gritting his teeth, “Y….yeah…um, who are you?” He asked trying to sit up, his hands were tied behind his back and his feet were bound together.
