Luke leaned against the wall, his wrists burning from the poison covered ropes that bound his hands together. "Well, aside from miserable, I'm Luke."
Two (Closed)
Jays electric blue eyes licked down to Luke’s wrists, “Are those poison? They only use poison rope on people who aren’t human. Anyway, I’m Jay.” He sighed and tried to move his wrists around unsuccessfully.
Beads of sweat rolled down Luke's face. He's not scared of me? "You got me, I'm a Vampire." Luke grinned, but a volt of burning pain shot through his arms. He winced, then turned back to Jay. "Hey, you're a mortal, and you don't deserve this. Let me see if I can try to cut you free."
Jay frowned, “No, I’m fine. You’re the one that needs help, they’ll be more horrible to you then they will to me.” He shook his head annoyed, “I have a magical knife in my pocket I’m going to try and get it.” He carefully reached into his back pocket and unsheathed the knife which landed on the floor in front of them.
Luke nodded, and asked "Well, I could always help you after you've cut me loose, you know."
Jay nodded, staring at the knife, “I have to grab it…” He said and while struggling, turned himself around and grabbed it. He then moved towards Luke and started cutting the rope.
Luke felt a burning sensation every time the knife moved, but when the rope snapped, it was worth it. "Thanks," He said, rubbing his wrists. "Here, give me the knife."
Jay carefully handed it to him and sat patiently for Luke to cut the ropes. The van hit a bump and Jay went flying forward and hit the wall. He heard the men up front laugh as he sat back up.
Luke scowled, but didn't say anything. He sliced through the ropes quickly. "Let's get out of here." Luke jumped up and with super speed, rammed the back doors of the van, repeatedly.
Jay used the knife quickly on his ropes that bound his legs together and stood up. He watched Luke unsuccessfully bang on the back doors, he heard noises up front, “Shit they’re going to get us!” He exclaimed trying to help Luke. Even if they did escape it wouldn’t be long til he was caught, Goldburns never gave up.
"Just… once more, I swear." Luke backed all the way up and ran full speed, knocking both doors down. His work was useless, because as the doors swung open, they were greeted by none other than Mr. Goldburns himself.
Jay paled but stood his ground, “F-fuck…” He muttered. “Trying to leave so soon? I don’t think so, you’ll both be staying with us for awhile!” Goldburns cackled, two men from the front were suddenly at either side of Jay and Luke. Several stakes were rammed into Luke’s body enough to not kill him but to make sure he passed out, while a taser was held to the back of Jays neck and he was tased until he fell to the ground, paralyzed and unconscious.
Luke felt the stakes ram him and his head slumped forwards as he fell out of consciousness.
Jay was thrown into the van once more, completely unconscious. Someone else came back to keep an eye on them and kicked Jay in the side for the fun of it. The van started to move again heading to the headquarters of Goldburns Industry.
Luke was separated from Jay this time, when he woke up. He was no longer in the van, or in any type of car. Everything was blurry. He could only make out the shapes of people in front of him.
Luke launched himself forward in an attack, but found that he was chained like an animal. "HEY! COWARDS! TRY FACING ME WITHOUT THESE CHAINS!" He yelled, but he only heard laughter. Luke snarled and tried for a few minutes to rip the chains from the wall, but failed. Looking more closely, he noticed stains all around his feet.
"Are those bloodstains?" He whispered to himself.
When they arrived at headquarters, Jay was hung over someone’s shoulder, still unconscious. He was thrown into the wall of a cell and stabbed in the leg with a knife to keep him from trying anything.
A man walked up to Luke and said "Calm down, we only want a few days with you, Vamp." Luke smirked and replied "I'm not worth more of your time?" The man's face turned dark. "No." He stabbed a syringe filled with vervain into Luke's neck. Luke's face contorted in pain, and the world went blurry and then dark.
A few hours later, Jay woke up with a small, strained moan. He opened his eyes and winced. His leg was in pain and his pant leg was stained a dark red color. Jay sighed and looked around, he couldn't see Luke anywhere and wondered where he was.
Luke woke up to a jolt of electricity buzzing through his arm. "Did you seriously just taze me?" He asked the man holding a taser gun. The man ignored his question (which had an obvious answer) and opened a door. He walked in, gripping Luke's arms from behind, pushing him forward. Luke saw Jay on the floor, and the bloody pant-leg. Luke squeezed his eyes shut and looked away. "What, the Vampire can't handle blood?" The man asked and laughed. Luke pushed down his instinct to attack Jay and take his blood. "Just get me out of here." Luke mumbled. The man threw him in the next cell, across from Jay. "Mr. Goldburns will arrive in a few minutes. Have fun, boys." He said and slammed the room door as he walked out of it. "Crap." Luke said and backed up to the wall of his cell.
Jay looked weakly at Luke and tried hiding his leg, biting his tongue so he wouldn't gasp in pain, "You…okay?" He asked after the men had left. He heard a startling noise of heavy footsteps and looked to the right, Me Goldburns was coming. He had a sly smirk on his face as he came up to where Jay was, unlocked the door and stepped into his cell, "Hello, Jay…" He snarled. Jay glared at him, "Long time no see boy. Why the look of hatred? We'll get along just fine if you do everything I say." Jay shook his head, "Never." Goldburns frowned and grabbed a high voltage electric rod and held it up against his neck, "Unacceptable, boy."
Luke watched in horror, and bit his lip. "Bronzeburns, or whatever your name is, leave us alone!" Luke called.
Jay gave a side glance to Luke and shook his head, "It's no use…" He sighed. Goldburns frowned at the vampire, "Tch, you shut up bloodsucker. I'll handle you after I'm done using him.". He turned back to Jay and flicked the rod on, shocking him. Jay let out a surprised yell as his entire body shook and panted heavily at the pain, "St…stop." he gasped. "Not until you agree to what I want you to do.". Jay weakly shook his head.
Enraged, Luke super-speeded forward and crashed against the metal bars of the cell. "I WILL KILL YOU, GOLDCRISP!" He shouted at Goldburns. He crashed against the bars again.
Goldburns was enraged, "SILENCE BLOODSUCKER!". He yelled, then turned back to Jay wrapping his fat fingers around his neck and holding him up, with his hand that held the rod he pressed it against Jay's knife wound causing Jay to flinch. "I'll give you another chance, Jay. Will you do everything I say?" He breathed on him. Jay gagged at the stench of his breath but nodded his head out of fear, "Y-yes s-sir, I…I will.". Goldburns smiled satisfied and dropped Hay back to the ground and exited his cell, closing it behind him. He glared at Luke and sent a jolt of electricity at him, "Foul beast. Your time will come. And its Mr Goldburns." He added with a snarl before leaving.
"SCREW YOU!" Luke yelled at the door as he left. He looked back at Jay. "Are you alright?" He asked.
"I'm fine…" Jay mumbled not meeting Luke's eyes. He had just given up right there and then to help Goldburns with horrible research.
Luke saw sadness in Jay and felt it. "We're getting out of here, I swear. I just need to focus." Luke closed his eyes and took a deep breath. His muscles bulged and he grabbed onto the cell door. "RrRAh!" He shouted and ripped a metal pole from the ground, and tossed it aside. Luke squeezed through the small gap and ran over to Jay. "Now, when I open this cell, run. I don't trust myself around blood." Luke says, glancing at Jay's leg briefly.
(gotta go, it's dinner time for me, but I like where this is going! I can't wait to get further!)
(Same!)
Jay shook his head, his eyes dull and defeated as he looked at Luke, "No. They will catch us and we'll be right back where we started. You, escape, your life is much important than mine."
