Rhys shrugs.

"I want to spend time with my best friend!" he grins, solidifying and looping an arm around Beacon's shoulders.

"We are not best friends," He says, pushing their arm off

"Then we will be!" Rhys replies.

"haaaa.. fine.."

Rhys punches the air in triumph.

"Hell yeah! See ya later!" he laughs, saluting and falling through the floor with a little wink.

What the hell.. Beacon walked away and put his ear buds in, What a weird person, I can't believe I'm giving up my free time to hangout with them,

At the end of the schoolday, Rhys pops up in the middle of Beacon's class, waving.

"Hey hey hey!"

Beacon looked at them, "Hey.. Where are we gonna go..?"

Rhys smiles.

"Right now? Or whenever you're ready."

"umm right now," Beacon stood from his seat and grabbed his things

Rhys indicates for Beacon to follow.

"So, there's this new Cajun restaurant nearby that I've been dying to try."

"Dinner date?" he asks innocently

Rhys pauses.

"Um- actually, about that."

"What it is?" He turned to look into Rhys eyes

"Will you pretend to be dating me?" Rhys asks.

"Um.. What did you just ask me..?" He paused

"Can you pretend to be dating me please?" Rhys repeats, looking slightly to the left of Beacon.

"And why do I need to do this?"

"Because. . . there's this tiny thing about my family where if I don't find someone in the next week, they'll set me up with this ghastly woman by the name of Patricia." Rhys replies, slightly embarrassed.

"It's only a temporary thing. I think." they add.

"Uhmm.." Beacon looked to the side and ran his fingers through his hair, "O-Okay,"

Rhys looks happy and relieved.

"Thank god. . . and thank you too, dear." he smiles.

"Uhm, so what are some boundaries, like how far are we gonna go with this?" Beacon's cheeks are flushed and he looks down to play with his shirt

Rhys shrugs.

"No clue!" he replies.

"oh..! Well lets go," The boy turned to walk away

"So, what will you get? I'll probably order jambalaya."

"U-Uhm, I don't know," He said nervously

"Fair enough. By the way, how much spice tolerance do you have?" Rhys grins.

"Oh, none at all!" He laughed, "I hate spicy food,"

Rhys raises an eyebrow.

"Oh, dear. This will be a bad night for you then."
