Gray bent down and pressed his lips to hers briefly.
"You're adorable, you know that right?" he chuckled. "I love it. You're wonderful."
Violeta released a soft whine, hooking his collar with two fingers to tug him back down. “Kiss me properly. Please.”
Gray grinned at the whine he'd elicited from her lips, wanting to hear it again. "As my lady commands," he murmured before pressing their lips together softly.
Violeta backed herself up against the nearest available wall, pulling him on top of her until the only thing she could see and feel was Gray. His soft shirt against her fingers, the reassuring beats of his heart, his faint stubble and sparkling eyes. Their lips moved in sync, tugging a tranquil bubble of bliss over the both of them.
Gray pressed both of his hands on either side of her as he kissed her gently, warmth flooding through him. If he could, he'd kiss her all day. He loved it that much. And when she yielded to him like that, displaying her trust… his heart swelled intensely. He hoped he could protect this trust for the rest of his life. He wanted to spend that entire time with her, doing everything and nothing.
Violeta loved how gentle he was with her… Yes, it was exhilarating to be kissed roughly, to feel the vibrations of a growl reverberating through her mouth, but when he held her like this, when he kissed her like she was something fragile, precious—priceless—with all the care in the world..
Gray pressed his mouth to hers harder, though he was careful not to hurt her in any way. He moved his hands to cup her cheeks, lifting her head up slightly to kiss her better. Feeling the need to take in some air, Gray pulled away, breathing heavily, forehead pressed against hers.
“I love it when you kiss me like that..” Violeta breathed, sliding he eyelids over dilated pupils.
Gray chuckled, pecking her on the mouth again.
“I know,” he smirked. “I love it when I kiss you like that, too.”
Violeta made a tiny noise of complaint in the back of her throat, reaching up to trace his smirk with the pad of her thumb. “Gray..”
Gray kissed her thumb, rubbing slow circles on her waist. “Yes, love?”
Violeta sucked in a shaky breath at the dizzying sensation of his fingers at her waist. "I still can't really grasp how much I've come to like you."
Gray’s smile widened at her words and he nuzzled her cheek, kissing it softly. “Yeah? I’m glad, Vy. I’m glad you like me.”
"Your arms," she murmured, pushing her face against his chest before a blush could overtake her cheeks, "Make me feel so safe. You make me feel so safe. And it's only been—god, two weeks? Less?"
“Do you know how happy that makes me?” Gray ran his fingers through her hair, tightening his hold on her. “I’m so glad I make you feel safe, Vy. It makes me so happy knowing I can be this for you.”
"And it makes me happy knowing that you're happy." Violeta stood on the tips of her toes and pressed her face against the crook of his neck, inhaling his familiar scent.
Gray bent down, letting her wrap herself around him properly. “I have a request…” he nuzzled her neck.
"Oh?" Violeta swept a tentative kiss across his jawline, her mouth lingering over his skin. "What's the request?"
Gray sucked in a breath at her kiss, tightening his hold on her. “Will you let me carry you? I feel like giving you a ride on my back.”
A huge grin overtook Violeta's lips. "Of course," she laughed, pulling away. But after a moment or two, her expression faltered. "I–I might be too heavy for you."
Gray rolled his eyes and flicked her on the forehead. “You’re not heavy, Vy,” he kissed the spot he flicked before turning back and bending down. “C’mon. I’ll be taking it back in five… four… three…”
Violeta jumped on his back after a split second of hesitation, wrapping her legs securely around his waist. "Is this okay?"
Gray hooked his arms under her legs, holding her tightly as he stood up straight. He grinned.
“It’s perfect,” he murmured. “Wrap your arms around my neck, too, Vy.”
Violeta held him tight, unable to stop herself from grinning as she pressed her cheek against his. "Like this?"
“Yes,” Gray hummed. “Like that. Gosh, I love having you pressed against me like this.”
A vivid scarlet coated Violeta’s cheeks. “O-Oh,” she stammered, biting her lower lip.
“Are you blushing, Vy?” Gray teased as he began to walk. “So adorable.”
“You’re not allowed to tease me,” she mumbled, clearly flustered. “I’ll get down if you tease me too much—“
Gray tightened his hold on her legs.
“Oh, no you won’t,” he twisted his head to the side to kiss her arm. “You’ll stay like this until we get to my car.”
Violeta buried her face against the side of his neck, growing more and more flustered by the second. “Gray…”
