The room was impeccably clean, so Elanor would have no problem navigating it. There was an oil lamp by the bedstand, sitting dusty with misuse. Tiffany was sitting on the bed, it was a bunk, and she appeared to have the bottom one with how decorated with photos it was.

Elanor looked up at the top bunk, narrowing her eyes for just a moment, and looking around the room to take it in as her eyes adjusted to the low light. "Tiffany…" She said slowly. "Would it be alright if we, perhaps, turned the lights up a little bit? It's very dark in here and a little difficult to see."
Tiffany looked up, a bit panicky. "I didn't realize the lights went out! I'm sorry," she mumbled the last part, and set about lighting up the room and getting a small fire going in the stove to heat the place up some more.
"It's alright!" Elanor said quickly, setting her bag on the top bunk. "Please don't get worried about it, I just wasn't sure if you were alright with the lights on!" She internally sighed, knowing she wasn't exactly the best roommate, especially for someone so nervous.
"No, no, I just… I'm so clumsy, I'm sorry." she shook her head, letting the room warm up in the soft glow of the lights. "You… you can unpack, now. If you want, I just…"
"You're alright!" Elanor said again. "And I do not really have much to…unpack." she shrugged a shoulder faintly, taking her cloak off and folding it up, putting it away. This left her in just the borrowed clothes from Anna. She needed to figure out a way to get some money and get her own clothes.
"That's fine, I guess you can just make yourself at home then. I'm Tiffany. Ah, you probably already knew that." she said, fidgeting with her hands and giving awkward glances all around the room.
"I do. I'm Elanor, I was introduced to you earlier." She smiled a little bit, sitting down on a sidechair and loosening her hair, then starting to rebraid it.
"You were." she said in a small voice, blinking rapidly beneath her smudged glasses. "Elanor, yes. It's a lovely name." she smiled faintly, taking one of the photographs from her bed and staring at it for a while before putting it back.
"Thank you." She replied with a little smile, careful not to move too fast, that way she wouldn't startle Tiffany. The other woman seemed like she would startle if Elanor moved too fast.
(I don't know what to do next in terms of plot, sorry.)
(ahsgsgd that's fine, I don't either tbh)
(I'm just,,, I'm just trying to find a way to create romantic tension between El and Anna but like, can't.)
(mood. Uh, I think we just need more interactions between them? Somehow)
(Uh, maybe El gets sick or something? And Anna has to nurse her back to health?)
(oh yeah! Or some asshole tried to grab at Anna or whatever and El just,, stabs him or something lmao)
(Both? Both? Both is good.)
(yeah, which one first?)
(I mean, either? El could have her being sick happen later, since it would happen over time. Also, have you decided whether or not you want El to be having a kid or what? Anyways, El could just be feeling lonely and seek out someone, only to find a guy harassing Anna on the street or some shit and just go fucking feral on him? Idk.)
(yeah true. Ajdhdgshbs I am still undecided lmao. Yeah that could work!)
(Sounds good, then!)
(yup! Want me to do that, then?)
(If that works for you? I don't want to force you into anything.)
(nah I'm fine with it. Is it going to be a timeskip, tho, or what? I mean does it happen three days later than where we're at right now, or at the same time?)
(Uh, we can skip to later, sure! Maybe like, it's the next day, Anna's just finished seeing to everyone who needs seeing to, and stuff?)
(yeah that sounds good! Want me to handle the timeskip, then?)
(Uh, I could? It was my turn to post, after all.)
(alright!)
"Thank you." She replied with a little smile, careful not to move too fast, that way she wouldn't startle Tiffany. The other woman seemed like she would startle if Elanor moved too fast.
Later the next day, Anna did some quick rounds around the women's home, helping to treat any injuries new girls had and any illnesses the older ones possessed. She even brought along some clothes for El, ones that would fit and were in a general style she'd like, dresses that must have cost a month's rent each if they weren't charity. "For you. See if Tiffany likes anything, she needs something nice and you two are about the same size anyways." she smiled.
El had been kind of wandering, but when Anna found her, she stared at the dresses for a moment, then looked up at the other woman. "Oh– I…I don't know if I can accept these, Anna, they're…they're lovely, but I haven't a way to return the kindness, and I already owe you so much." She said slowly
