"What did they do to you?" (Angsty Whump-y One on One) (Closed)

I don't think we've rp-ed together before. My responses usually depend on what's going on and how much the other person posts but here's something from another RP:

Ava runs across the rooftops, leaping from building to building. The feeling of freedom is electrifying and addicting, she can never get enough. It’s not long before she hears a commotion nearby and decides to investigate. She’s bored and picking a fight could be fun. Kneeling down on the roof, she peers below her to get a good idea of what’s going on. In the alleyway below, serval large guys are pushing around and beating up another guy. To her utmost surprise, she recognizes the guy that’s being beat up as the asshole who shot her two weeks ago. Now is the perfect time to take revenge and all she has to do is get rid of the other guys. She leaps off of the roof with cat like grace and lands on one of the men’s back, taking them all by surprise. The man was in shock for just a few short seconds, giving her the opportunity she needed to snap his neck. With a dull thud the body falls to the ground, leaving Ava to face off with the dead man’s partners. She decides to focus on the one closest to her first. The two size each other up for a moment before she makes a move. They engage in hand to hand combat but the man was no match for her and it's not long before she ends his life by expertly slitting his throat. Two down, three to go. “I’ll give you one chance to leave before I kill you,” she warns them, making her voice deeper so it can’t be recognized. The three men refuse to comply. Two of them she manages to take down with ease, stabbing one in in the heart and the other in the head. The last man standing is going to be a challenge. He stands at well over six feet tall and is sporting large muscles. The man goes to draw his gun but she sharply kicks it out of his hand, sending it flying. It seems that the man is better trained than the other men seeing as he pullouts a knife and attacks. Ava, not one to run away from a challenge, stands her ground and the two duke it out. The man lands a few solid blows but this fight is personal so there is no chance in hell that she’s letting this thug win. She ducks down and slides between his legs, cutting him right behind his right knee, causing him to stumble and giving her a chance to sink her knife into his lower back and twist. With a cry of pain the man falls and she puts him out of misery by opening his throat. Ava slowly stands and glances around at the three bodies, taking a deep breath. Turning toward the man that had shot her, she points her bloody knife at him. “Remember me, asshole?” She snarls.

(Yeah, sure! Present tense is usually my go to but I shouldn't have an issue with past tense.)

(I have a pretty high energy quirky character that would be interesting for Person A but I'd be good with whichever. Hm, a modernish/sci fi type of war would be cool. Yeah, I'm definitely okay with it.)

Personality: Nora is basically chaos. The girl is hyperactive and has a mind that just doesn't stop. She's always moving and always scheming. Her energy and passion are her two greatest strengths but are also the two things that get her into the most trouble. She has a mischievous streak that rivals the trickster god, Loki, himself. Pranks and stirring up trouble is like second nature to the pixie like woman. While she prefers things to be upbeat and less serious, she does usually know when to knock it off and focus. When Nora sets her sights on a goal she does everything in her power to achieve it, no matter what other people think. Her hands have to be occupied at all times, whether it be tosses a ball around, painting anything, or sewing a patch onto some torn clothes. Photography is one of the only things that she'll be completely still and patient for. She'll stay in an awkward position for hours on end just to snap the perfect shot. Most people find it difficult to befriend Nora due to her high energy and rebellious nature but those her make the effort to get to know her become her family and she'll do anything for family.
Typical Outfit: Ripped jeans with a band t-shirt or tank top. Always either sneakers or combat boots
Background: Nora was born to Joseph and Lily Wallace, a middle class couple who worked hard to support their family. Her parents weren't around very often while she was growing up but when they did have free time they spent all of it with her so she knew she was loved. Nora's mischievous streak kicked in when she was ten, causing her energy and pranks to drive her parents up a wall. They wasted no time in signing up their precious ball of energy up for soccer, karate, swimming, and archery. Nora took a shine to karate and archery but dropped swimming and soccer after two years. Pleased that their daughter was using her energy on something productive, Joseph and Lily started to loosen the reins a little, a big mistake on their part. Nora was thrilled with her new independence and took advantage of it, causing all sorts of mischief at school and at home. Her parents lost count of how many times they were called to the school because of Nora's pranks, bad behavior, or her annoying habit of skipping class. This caused problems at home but the family remained tight and continued to bond over Nora's success at archery and karate. Every time she had a competition out of town both of her parent's took off of work and they made a mini family vacation out of it. A year ago, her family was on their way the last karate competition of the year, they were all singing along to the radio, not knowing that this was the last trip they would ever have as a family. The roads were covered in ice due to the recent cold spell, making driving a difficult task for even the most experienced driver. A tractor-trailer was driving alongside the small mini-van when the driver suddenly lost control, causing the massive vehicle to ram into the smaller car, forcing them to flip off of the road and tumble down the side of the hill and crash into some pine trees. Nora woke up in the hospital a day later, she had broken her right arm, bruised three ribs, gotten a mild concussion, had a nasty cut on her forehead, and was covered with various other cuts and bruises. The moment a nurse came to check on her she asked about her parents, only to be crushed with news of their deaths. A week later she attended the funerals, not crying, and not saying a single word to anyone. She was legally an adult with no relatives to help her and almost no money to her name. She was all alone in the world. With no other options, she found a job and starting working herself to death just to earn enough money to keep herself alive. When the store where she worked burned down she was forced to find another way to get money. At first it wasn't too bad, just a few stolen wallets here and there but soon she was taking more risks just to score money. Her system was heavily flawed but she did what she had to do to survive. Before she knew it several years had gone by and she was still barely scraping by. It got to the point where she joined the army in order to have a roof over her head and three meals a day.

The yelling is one think but scrubbing what seems like the world's most disgusting ship is another. Nora had suffered through the yelling without a complaint but had bitched under her breath during the entire cleaning process. She had been lucky to enough to avoid being caught. The punishment would not have been fun. The Seargent had been kind enough to allow them to retire to their rooms early. She got matched up with a girl around her age. "Depends on how you mean that," She replied. A smirk appeared on her face as she studied her new bunkmate. "I'll take the top."

Nora kept her eyes on her new bunkmate, intrigued by her spunk. Having a to share a bunk with someone might not be so terrible. “I definitely will. Don’t try and fight it, Bottom,” She purred. Her eyes sparkled with mischief and curiosity. A moment later, she had successfully climbed on top of her bunk. “Ask me nicely and I might just tell you.”

Nora grinned broadly at the other girl. The others in the room are practically nonexistent. “Oh, look at that sweet smile. How could anyone resist such a thing?” The croon was sarcastic but amused. “I’m Nora but you can call me the best thing that’s ever happened to you.” Her words were pretty cheesy but they sounded smooth the way she said them. “And what’s your name?”

“All over. Nowhere interesting though.” Nora rolled over onto her back and looked at Rowan from an upside down point of view. “What about you? Got an interesting stories to tell me?” Just being laid out on a bunk had gotten very boring very fast.
