What's wrong with being a dude? (Transitioning rp) (one on one)

She ruffled his hair with a smile before turning to enter her own room.

Leonie left her door open just in case anyone called her, but she silently lay curled up on top of her bed. I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep..

Leonie lay still and silent. She could hear faint sniffs from the other room. She hated seeing and hearing Alex upset. She carefully slid off her bed, tiptoeing into the guest room where she found Alex crying to himself in the corner. She slowly knelt down beside him, gently rubbing his shoulder.

"Alex.. If you want I can stay with you.."

She leaned forward and hugged him tight. "I'll stay for as long as you want, but you really should try to rest.."

"Thank you." She sighed, relieved. "I think you'd be more comfortable in a bed rather than on the floor. I'll sit next to you if you want."

"Alright.." She held onto Alex tightly, stroking the back of his head gently.

"No you're not, don't ever put yourself down like that. I can't pretend to know exactly how you're feeling but you are most definitely not being a pain by feeling how you are."

"Surely that's not true." She looked down into Alex's eyes. "In fact I know it isn't true because I'll have you know that I do."

"You seem to have it in your head that you're annoying everyone around you and that nobody likes you. That is not true at all. You have emotions that you express differently to others, which is good because no one is the same. And just because some of the people you know now don't like you doesn't mean that no one in the entire world likes you. There are fantastic people out there who are accepting of others no matter who they are, you just need help finding them."

"Stop guessing and start finding out for definite. But not tonight." Her eyes were starting to get heavy, but she kept herself awake for Alex's sake.

"Yeah, I'm just thankful that we can have a lay in tomorrow. I think it's needed." she chuckled quietly, releasing Alex from her embrace.

"Sorry, I think it's better I stop talking. When I'm tired I say really random things that make any situation awkward." She smiled softly, removing her glasses to rub her eyes with the palms of her hands. "Go on, the bed doesn't bite."

"Well it's either I stay up and watch over you, or I go to my own room to sleep." she shrugged, sliding her glasses back onto her face. There was a third option, but she didn't have the guts to mention it.

She sighed, pushing her hair out of her face. "I was going to say or I could sleep next to you if you wanted."
