Who wants a romance o/o? (OPEN)

He moved back, still holding on to her. "Right, sorry, I should have asked-"

Her eyes squeezed shut and she blushed. "I-I'm sorry, Nicky… I-I didn't mean to say it like that… I–"

"Laura, can I kiss you?"

She looked up at his face. His eyes trapped her in a gentle sensation. She looked deep into his eyes and knew it was time to let her past go – for now, at least.
"Yes."

Nicky sighed in relief, his lips meeting hers again happily.

(Fell asleep sorries!)

This time, Laura kissed him back gently and closed her eyes.

He pulled her just a bit closer, smiling into the kiss.

She gently reached up and cupped his face.

Laura's lips tasted like lemon, a fact that made Nicky insanely happy. Two things he liked in one. He leaned into her touch.

After a minute, she pulled away, breathing slowly.

The muffled sound of clapping and cheering met them, and Nicky huffed a laugh, looking over at the sliding glass door.

Laura blushed and buried her face in his neck shyly.

Nicky wrapped his arms around her, holding her there, and addressed the onlookers. "Can we help you?"
"Yeah, dinner's ready! Actual food!" Aaron called back, wincing when Renee popped him on the back of the head.

"W-Want to go inside then?" Laura asked quietly.

"You want to? Or do you wanna stay out here another minute."

She hummed quietly. "Whatever you want," she whispered, not expecting to have her way.

"I asked what you want, Laura. I'm fine with whatever."

She pulled away and looked up at him. "R-Really?"

"Uh, yeah? Why wouldn't I be? As long as I ca hold your hand, I guess." He smiled brightly down at her, placing a kiss on her nose.

She blushed. "I-I'm kinda hungry…"

"So let's go eat then!" He held her there for a moment more before pulling her back inside.

Her face was pink as the band watched them come inside.

Renee winked at Laura, and Lilly shot her a supportive smile as Aaron slapped his brother on the back a bit too hard.

Laura smiled shyly at the girls.

"Aaron, quit teasing Nicky and sit down." Renee called loudly as she flopped down onto the couch next to Lilly, a plate of food in hand.
Nicky tugged Laura back towards the kitchen. "Hurry, before she changes her mind."

Laura followed Nicky quickly with a giggle.

Nicky grabbed a couple plates down from the top shelf in the cupboard, and handed one to Laura. "Help yourself to anything. And remember, eat a lot."

"Oh, um, alright…" She smiled shyly.

Nicky used a spoon to dump tofu onto the tortilla on his plate, then picked through the vegetables to avoid the onions.

She filled her plate slowly with a few items.
