He nodded and returned the smile, “That’s true.”
Marlee's smile widened and she started blushing.
Kyle slipped his hands into his pockets and nudged her playfully.
Marlee stumbled a little. "Oops, I forgot to warn you, I have the of balance of a baby horse standing for the first time."
Kyle chuckled, "Good to know. I won't nudge you too hard then."
Marlee looked up at him and laughed. "Thanks."
"Anytime." He replied, smiling.
Marlee blushed a little at his smile.
Kyle blushed a little himself and looked down at his feet, "So… you're not bored of me yet?"
"No way. You're amazing!" Marlee stated. "Oh wait, ah, sorry, that was bold."
"No, no it's fine. Just, wondering why you'd want to hang out with the emo kid of the school." He shrugged.
"Because everyone else is boring. They have no sense of adventure.
“Honestly, I don’t think I do, either. Well, maybe a little but not a lot.”
"Perhaps I could help you find it?"
"You think you could?"
"Yes, at least I hope so."

Kyle nodded a little balling his hands up into his jumper pockets.
Marlee shifted a little.
“So uh…. how close is your home from here?”
She looked around. "About seven minutes."
He glanced at his watch nervously, "O-Okay…"
"If it doesn't work, I can just go back to the cafe, I don't want to make you late."
“No, no it’s fine, I won’t be late.” Lies
"Are you sure?"
“Yeah, I’m sure.” He offered a small somewhat shy smile.
Marlee blushed at his smile. "Okay."
His eyes stayed locked to hers for a moment before he looked away, blushing.
