"You DO like me!" "I don't think 'like' is the right word." "You tolerate me." "Maybe." one on one

"Um. . . Any restaurant would be good," she offered. "I'll try and think of some more while we drive."

@Fraust

"Alright, sounds fine to me." Lin fidgeted a bit with his hands as he watched out the window.

@cryptic-glitch

“Keep an eye out,” she said mildly, reaching out to poke him fondly.

@Fraust

"I will, I will." Lin rolled his eyes and swatted her hand away gently, occasionally pointing out signs when he saw them.

@cryptic-glitch

"Lin? Do you like when I poke you? Or should I stop?"

@Fraust

Lin shrugged a bit. "Depends on my mood, I guess. Usually I'm pretty indifferent about it."

@cryptic-glitch

"Alright. Tell me if you hate it, okay?"

@Fraust

"Alright." Lin looked back out the window. "It's kind of weird driving around all the time, isn't it?"

@cryptic-glitch

"You think so? I like it. Gives me something other than my depressing home life to focus on."

@Fraust

Lin shrugged a bit. "It's just different, I guess. I mean, I was living in a treehouse, basically. Didn't exactly travel much."

@cryptic-glitch

"I get it. Yeah. My parents liked to keep me holed up. So I didn't really go to many places. I think it's nice to be going places on my own terms."

@Fraust

He nodded, humming thoughtfully. "I didn't travel much as a kid either, obviously. Maybe I'll like it, I dunno."

@cryptic-glitch

"It's cool to see different places. Puts everything in perspective," Orion said.

@Fraust

"Yeah, I guess so. Anywhere you particularly want to see?" He asked.

@cryptic-glitch

"I've always wanted to go see the American Revolution monuments in Boston."

@Fraust

"Hm. Is that far from here?" He looked over to Orion curiously.

@cryptic-glitch

“Yeah. More than a few hours. What about you? Where do you wanna go?”

@Fraust

Lin shrugged a bit. "Not sure. Maybe I'll go back to visit England someday. See how my siblings are doing, you know? I think you'd like them."

@cryptic-glitch

“Probably. I like you well enough,” she said, jokingly.

@Fraust

"They're not all just like me, though. A couple of them aren't super nice, either."

@cryptic-glitch

“I’m not very nice,” she pointed out mildly. “And I meant that they’re similar to you. Not exactly the same.”

@Fraust

Lin shrugged a bit. "You'd definitely like Rem. He's sweet. My younger siblings are all pretty chill, to be honest. The older ones are the ones to watch out for."

@cryptic-glitch

“Huh. I think I could take them. Is Rem like you? I mean, personality-wise?”

@Fraust

Lin tilted his head from side to side for a moment. "Mmm… I guess so. I haven't seen him since he was six, though, so he could be different now."

@cryptic-glitch

"I don't know. I think he'd be mostly the same. I mean, with what your parents did to you, maybe not. I'm not sure."

@Fraust

"I suppose I'm a little behind as well, yes?" He glanced over to Orion. "I still don't know much about the world and I'm 18."

@cryptic-glitch

“Yeah. I guess so. I mean, I thought that CDs ran out of music until I was eleven.”

@Fraust

"Mm." Lin yawned a bit and sighed, looking away. "I'm pretty unfamiliar with everything."

@cryptic-glitch

“The world is weird. I don’t think the universe really wants us to know everything.”

@Fraust

"Yeah, I guess not. I'm sure we wouldn't be able to handle it if we did anyway."
